Seth & Jessie talk Raiders of the North Sea for tonights board game review. This features one of their favorite mechanics, worker placement. In this game, players take on the role of viking raiders and pillage their way to victory buy building up their crew and raiding villages and outpost. The then convert the plunder to offerings to the chieftain. The player with the most victory points wins!

The night before the kids head back to school, Seth and Jessie sit down to review the 2-player board game Haven. In this two player only game, you battle for control of the forest. One player plays as the “city” and the other plays as the “forest.” Using Seekers to engage in combat at shrines, the players challenge for control areas on the the board. When the game finishes, the player with the most areas and shrines controlled wins the game.
