He talks about the challenges of being the only one in his community who did so, and how he hopes to inspire others to follow in his footsteps. He also discusses his upcoming documentary film about the Modoc War, and how the climate crisis is a existential crisis for Indigenous communities. Specifically, he talks about areas such as when Tule Lake, a significant part of the Modoc homelands, which has dried up. Dr. Don will then will offer paradigm shifts on how to have a healthier planet by getting better sleep.
