This week, Sami sits down with her old friend, Sophia Tostado, to discuss her experience in having to learn how to navigate the recruiting process prior to attending and playing at Marymount University. Additionally, they dive into how Sophia's love for the game carried her through not only her college career, but the years that followed as well.

On this week's episode, Sami sits down with one of her old club teammates, Gabby Marchal, to unpack a few of the experiences Gabby had with adversity, perseverance, and change during her time at Loyola Marymount University.

Sami is joined by Doctor of Physical Therapy, Reilly Retz, to discuss Reilly's five years of experience playing college soccer at Central Washington University. Together, they dive into the importance of focusing on mental health while playing at the collegiate level, and how adjusting to life without soccer is a process that takes time.

This week, another one of Sami's friends and old teammates, Cindy Arteaga, joins her to reminisce about a few of the crazy experiences they went through together during their four years of playing college soccer at CSUN. Cindy also goes into how she got recruited to play in Mexico City and what it's been like for her over the past year to live and compete in a different country.

On this week's episode, Carleigh Frilles, another one of Sami's cousins, joins her to talk about how "being annoying" was vital to helping her stand out to potential coaches. Carleigh also opens up about how it feels to represent your country and play soccer at the National level!

Sami is joined by Amanda Martin, an old teammate and someone she's looked up to since her freshman year of college! Together, they unpack Amanda's experience at CSUN and how she played a role in creating a positive and encouraging team environment. They also discuss what life looked like for Amanda after college and highlight some of the things she's been up to since parting ways with soccer.

This week, Sami sits down with her good friend and former teammate, Brooke Mobeck. They talk about Brooke's experience transferring from Oregon State to CSUN during the COVID-19 pandemic and dig into how injuries, surgeries, and repeated injuries had an impact on her time as a college athlete.
