Cy: Ar hyd arfordir Amalfi, roedd yr haul yn disgleirio'n llachar.
En: Along the Amalfi coast, the sun was shining brightly.

Cy: Roedd dyfroedd glas Môr Tyrrhenia yn glodfawr a'r ffyrdd troellog yn llawn bywyd.
En: The blue waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea were magnificent, and the winding roads were full of life.

Cy: Ymlwybrodd Gwyneth rhwng y cychod bach a'r stondinau arfor, gyda'i llyfr brasluniau yn ei llaw.
En: Gwyneth wandered between the little boats and the seaside stalls, with her sketchbook in hand.

Cy: Roedd hi newydd fethu cysylltu â'i ffrind Emrys.
En: She had recently failed to contact her friend Emrys.
