Lisa Brockman told her touching and humorous transition story in two very candid and vulnerable episodes --UGP  32 and 33.  This week Lynn and I interview her on her upcoming book "Out of Zion" in which she chronicles her amazing story of grace.  We also talk about how she and her LDS family have together navigated keeping and deepening their love and trust for and in one another despite strong religious differences.  It's an encouraging story of what God can do in the lives of people who love Him and are committed to honoring Him with their family relationships. 

Stephanie was exposed to the impact of performance-based religious groups through a family member and then her husband.  After coming to Christ, God has taken her on a spiritual journey that includes reaching out to those in the performance-based religion of Mormonism with grace and kindness and the truth that transforms their lives.  

It is undeniable how God had a hand on Ray's life even while growing up in Mormonism's performance-based religious system. Ray's down-to-earth, unassuming telling of his story, and the at times mysterious circumstances God used to bring Ray to the truth will encourage your heart and renew your confidence in a God who cares and reaches out to us personally with his grace.

This is a very touching and moving final episode to this series of episodes featuring Agusta's story.   All three of us, Agusta, Lynn and myself were in tears at the end, but it was a holy movement full of wonder at God's grace in all our lives, but especially Lynn and Agusta's.

Agusta continues to tell her fascinating story and her pursuit of "it."  God finally revealed this missing piece and Agusta immediately knew when she had found "it."  Dan also had an encounter with grace, and once again their lives radically changed.  It wasn't long before they suffered tremendous loss - job, friends, status - and some incredible hurt from the people that once were their closest friends.  It's a humorous and stirring episode of courage and trust in God in the midst of trial that inspires hope when life gets really rough.
