Lt: Saulė švietė ryškiai.
En: The sun was shining brightly.

Lt: Milda, Rokas ir Gabija stovėjo priešais Vilniaus pilį.
En: Milda, Rokas, and Gabija stood in front of Vilnius Castle.

Lt: Šiandien buvo ypatinga diena - Šv. Onos diena.
En: Today was a special day - St. Anne’s Day.

Lt: Milda visada buvo svajotoja.
En: Milda was always a dreamer.

Lt: Rokas mėgo nuotykius, o Gabija buvo protinga, bet skeptiška.
En: Rokas loved adventures, and Gabija was smart but skeptical.

Lt: Mokytoja pasakojo apie pilyje esančias legendas.
En: The teacher was telling legends about the castle.

En: While the group followed the guide, Milda climbed an old stone wall.

Lt: "Gabija," šnipštelėjo, "stovėk sargyboje!"
En: "Gabija," she whispered, "stand guard!"

En: Milda and Rokas walked through narrow corridors.

En: Among the old stones, they found a crack.

Lt: Jie paspaudė ir štai - mažos durys atsivėrė.
En: They pressed it, and behold - a small door opened.

Lt: Milda šyptelėjo.
En: Milda smiled.

Lt: Ji buvo teisi.
En: She was right.

Lt: Tačiau jų džiaugsmą nutraukė mokytojos balsas.
