Sl: Marjeta in Borut sta stala pred Ljubljanskim gradom.
En: Marjeta and Borut stood in front of Ljubljana Castle.

Sl: Jesenski veter ju je rahlo hladil, a jima ni mogel preprečiti veselja.
En: The autumn wind was gently cooling them, but it couldn't dampen their spirits.

Sl: Grad na hribu je bil ovit v tančico skrivnosti.
En: The castle on the hill was shrouded in a veil of mystery.

Sl: Marjeta je komaj čakala, da izve več o zmaju, ki naj bi tukaj prebival.
En: Marjeta eagerly anticipated learning more about the dragon rumored to live there.

Sl: Boruta pa je zanimala starodavna arhitektura in kako so stene še vedno stale.
En: Borut, on the other hand, was intrigued by the ancient architecture and how the walls still stood.

Sl: »Poglej, Borut, tu so legende, ki pravijo, da zmaj straži Ljubljano,« je rekla Marjeta z iskrico v očeh.
En: "Look, Borut, there are legends that say a dragon guards Ljubljana," said Marjeta, her eyes sparkling.

Sl: "Zmaji so morda le bajke," se je nasmehnil Borut, "a arhitekturni dosežki so resnični."
En: "Dragons might just be myths," Borut smiled, "but architectural achievements are real."

Sl: Stopila sta skozi masivna lesena vrata in se podala po tlakovanih poteh gradu.
En: They passed through the massive wooden doors and ventured along the castle’s cobblestone paths.

Sl: Listje okoli njiju je šumelo in ustvarjalo čarobno vzdušje.
En: The leaves around them rustled, creating a magical atmosphere.

Sl: Vendar pa se je nad reko Ljubljanico začel dvigovati meglen ovoj.

Sl: Borut se je ustavil.
En: Borut paused.

Sl: "Vidljivost je slaba. Morda bi morala počakati," je predlagal.
En: "Visibility is poor. Maybe we should wait," he suggested.

Sl: Marjeta je odločno odkima z glavo.
En: Marjeta shook her head decisively.

Sl: "Pojdiva, čutim, da je tukaj nekaj posebnega."
En: "Let's go, I feel there's something special here."

Sl: Plazila sta se v hladne dvorane pod gradom.
En: They crept into the cold halls beneath the castle.

Sl: Borut je previdno stopal, a Marjeta je pogumno nadaljevala.
En: Borut trod cautiously, but Marjeta boldly pressed on.

Sl: "Kaj če se izgubiva?" je vprašal Borut.
En: "What if we get lost?" Borut asked.

Sl: "Zaupaj mi," je odgovorila Marjeta.
En: "Trust me," Marjeta replied.

Sl: In res, zaupal ji je.
En: And indeed, he trusted her.

Sl: Ob nenadnem ovinku sta naletela na temen hodnik.
En: At a sudden turn, they encountered a dark corridor.

Sl: Marjeta je obstala.
En: Marjeta stopped.

Sl: "Poglej to," je rekla in kazala v slabotno svetlobo, ki je pronicala iz razpoke v zidu.
