Fi: Aino, Mikko ja Taru seisoivat Suomenlinnan muurin äärellä.
En: Aino, Mikko, and Taru stood at the wall of Suomenlinna.

Fi: Taivas oli kirkas ja aurinko paistoi heidän kasvoilleen.
En: The sky was clear, and the sun shone on their faces.

Fi: He olivat lähteneet retkeilemään yhdessä ja nauttimaan kesäpäivästä.
En: They had set out hiking together to enjoy the summer day.
