When ye have transgressed the covenant of Yahuah Elohaykem, which he commanded you, and have gone and served other elohiym, and bowed yourselves to them; then shall the anger of Yahuah be kindled against you, and ye shall perish quickly from off the good land which he has given unto you. YAHUSHA (JOSHUA) 23:16 את CEPHER

And Yahusha said unto the people, Ye cannot serve Yahuah: for he is a holy Elohiym; he is a jealous El; he will not forgive your transgressions nor your sins.

If ye forsake Yahuah, and serve strange elohai, then he will turn and do you hurt, and consume you, after that he has done you good.

 And the people said unto El-Yahusha, Nay; but we will serve Yahuah.

And Yahusha said unto the people, Ye are witnesses against yourselves that ye have chosen you Yahuah, to serve him. And they said, We are witnesses.

 Now therefore put away, said he, the strange elohai which are among you, and incline your heart unto El-Yahuah Elohai of Yashar'el. And the people said unto El-Yahusha, Yahuah Elohaynu will we serve, and his voice will we obey.  YAHUSHA (JOSHUA) 24:19-24 את CEPHER

So Yahusha cut a covenant with the people that day, and set them a statute and an ordinance in Shekem.  YAHUSHA (JOSHUA) 24:25 את CEPHER

NOW after the death of Yahusha it came to pass, that the children of Yashar'el asked Yahuah, saying, Who shall go up for us against the Kena`aniym first, to fight against them?

And Yahuah said, Yahudah shall go up: behold, I have delivered the land into his hand.

And Yahudah said unto Shim`on his brother, Come up with me into my lot, that we may fight against the Kena`aniym; and I likewise will go with you into your lot. So Shim`on went with him.  SHOFETIYM (JUDGES) 1:1-3 את CEPHER

And the anger of Yahuah was hot against Yashar'el, and he delivered them into the hands of spoilers that spoiled them, and he sold them into the hands of their enemies round about, so that they could not any longer stand before their enemies.

Whithersoever they went out, the hand of Yahuah was against them for evil, as Yahuah had said, and as Yahuah had sworn unto them: and they were greatly distressed.  SHOFETIYM (JUDGES) 2:14-15 את CEPHER

Matthew 22 36-40.  (New Testament)
36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?

37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

38 This is the first and great commandment.

39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
Meaning: This is what is written in our heart and mind that, we must follow to find our Father. 

Exodus 20 2-17.      (Old Testament)
I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before Me.

“You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them.
