Story Transcript:

Lt: Trakų saloje pavasario saulė spinduliavo ant pilies sienų, kur susirinko grupė moksleivių ekskursijai.
En: On the island of Trakai, the spring sun shone on the castle walls, where a group of students gathered for a field trip.

Lt: Eglė, mąsli ir santūri mergina, stovėjo šalia savo draugės Rūtos.
En: Eglė, a thoughtful and reserved girl, stood next to her friend Rūta.

Lt: Rūta visad buvo pasiruošusi nuotykiams ir linksmybėms.
En: Rūta was always ready for adventures and fun.

Lt: Jų istorijos mokytojas Mindaugas vedė klasę link įėjimo.
En: Their history teacher, Mindaugas, led the class toward the entrance.

Lt: Eglė norėjo jaustis labiau susijusi su savo šalies istorija.
En: Eglė wanted to feel more connected to her country's history.

En: Rūta wanted to take a boat trip around the castle, but Eglė pressed her palm to remind Rūta of the importance of the field trip.

Lt: „Mindaugai, papasakok istoriją,“ - liepė Eglė, žvelgdama mokytojui į akis.
En: "Mindaugas, tell the story," Eglė commanded, looking the teacher in the eye.

Lt: Mokytojas nustebo.
En: The teacher was surprised.

Lt: „Na, gerai...“ jis atsitiesė ir rūpesčiai tarsi dingo, kai pradėjo pasakoti.
En: "Well, alright..." he straightened up, and his worries seemed to disappear as he began to narrate.
