Fall 2021

Global and Local Engagement (GLE) is a student organization at UNW. They exist to cultivate in Northwestern students a passion for the global and local community, an expanded worldview, and an active pursuit of justice in line with Christ’s teaching and God’s transformative power in the world. In this chapel, they share real stories from the Latinx community through five students who will be sharing different vantage points.

In this Chapel Carlos Tellez speaks on the continued theme of the One Another's. He speaks on how to love the One Another's outside of the church. Carlos Tellez goes over three principles on how to do this. Number one is the I Owe You Principle, two is the Treat Yourself Principle, and three is Do No Harm Principle.

In this chapel UNW Alumni answer questions about their college memories, their college experience, and the encouragement they received throughout their college years. They share insight on how their college experiences helped prepare them for life outside of the college campus.

Spring 2022

Hannah Lageson speaks on confession. The struggles of sin and how it blocks the voice of the Lord. Joseph Von Edeskuty speaks on washing one another's feet.

Fall 2021 

In this Chapel Darrin Geier speaks on how the internet has shaped us as a society and our world today. He speaks about the dangers of the internet, our social media usage, and screen time.

In this Chapel Dr. Melissa Mork speaks on how to help friends and those around us with depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, autism, or OCD. She goes through the steps and different ways to be present, helpful, and encouraging to them.

In this Chapel Dr. Cureton continues speaking on the theme of Love One Another. Dr. Cureton speaks about being patient, gentle, humble and kind with each other as we represent Christ here on earth.

Spring 2021 

Justin Jeppesen is the Director of Spiritual Formation Programs and Kenneth Granados is a student leader at UNW. Together, they lead a series of three prayer prompts, all focusing on different aspects of prayer while looking to the Psalms in reflection.
