ウォーターフォール型とアジャイル型の違いとは?日系ITの課題を解説

Listen Later

In this episode, I explain the differences between the waterfall and agile models of software development, and why many Japanese IT companies struggle to move from one to the other. The waterfall model, rooted in Japan’s manufacturing culture, emphasizes detailed planning, strict processes, and quality assurance. Agile, on the other hand, focuses on flexibility, speed, and building while adapting to change. While agile is now common worldwide, Japanese IT often finds it difficult to adopt due to client expectations, organizational rigidity, and cultural attitudes toward quality. I also share thoughts on how Japan’s IT sector can evolve going forward.
