Up N Country - New Country Music Artists

Meet Canadian Country Artist Olivia Rose + "This or That"

She has won Rising Star twice in a row at the Edmonton Music Awards. We talk about those awards, songwriting and why she loves country music. She loves that storytelling is the heart of country music and uses the genre to connect with fans with her own stories.

Her greatest inspiration in country is Miranda Lambert, whom she would love to ultimately open up for some day. She plays her song, "Hard Work & Whiskey" for us acoustically and we have some fun with a round of "This or That."

Meet Country Artist Mitch Rossell (Who has a duet with Trisha Yearwood!)

I "fan-girled" about him writing hit songs for both Garth Brooks and  Trisha Yearwood, and his recent duet with Trisha herself, called, "Ran  Into You."

We discuss songwriting, being authentic, text stalkers, car  accidents and his first kiss.

Mitch reveals his biggest hobby is golf. He even installed a golf  simulator in his home!  Fore!!!

Young, Fresh & Traditional - Meet Dylan Marlowe

He may be new, fresh and young, but this guy is bringing the sounds you remember from Classic Country. His new song "All About It" is a  beautiful ballad set to just piano and the classic Dobro guitar. He's got that sweet Georgia twang, boyish charm and an authentic and real  sound.

He moved to Nashville just before the pandemic and starting  co-writing songs via Zoom calls. Thankfully, he is now doing that in  person in addition to going out on tour with Dylan Scott in 2022. They  joke that the tour is called Dylan Squared.
