Southampton fans have largely accepted their fate as the season gets closer to its conclusion. Most accepted relegation was not a possibility but a formality in December. But here we are, with our local rivals who some Cherries fans like to "love to hate but miss them when they disappear" facing relegation straight on in the face.

Saints have a measly 9 points and dread breaking Derby County's 11 points reached in 2007/08 in what most say was the worst ever Premier League side.

So are Southampton contenders for the list you don't want to be on?

Actually, our guest and good friend, Alex Le Tissier doesn't think so. Alex explains why she doesn't believe it to be the case and who she really blames for the failings at St Mary's.

Alex also talks about AFC Bournemouth and what she makes of the Cherries rise and if there is such a gulf between the Premier League and the Championship and why she isn't too fussed about the Saints dropping into the second tier.

Let us know what you think will be the score!

John Bailey will always be a name which will go down in AFC Bournemouth folklore.

From London, John joined the Cherries after Non League stints at both Croydon and Enfield and will be remembered well for his no nonsense attitude but also scoring THAT goal at Wembley in 1998 against Grimsby Town.

However all of this wouldn't have been possible had John not rang back a phantom number that called him one day. John told the person on the end of the line to "F*ck off" but that person was actually Mel Machin - the man who took us to the final.

John tells Matthew Harrison everything from his early days as a Spurs supporter to playing in that final, his honest opinions about the performance that day and then he explains the sad end to his time at the club.

We thank John Bailey for joining us on this interview and we wish him all the very best for the future.

It will be a final ever trip to Goodison Park this weekend when AFC Bournemouth face David Moyes for a place in the Fifth Round of the FA Cup.

For Andoni and the Cherries, this will be a game against a man who the Cherries have not beaten since coming back into the Premier League. For Everton and Moyes, they will be hoping for a continuation on the great form which has seen them pull well clear of relegation.

Could it be now with that threat of the drop looking so much further away that the FA Cup provides an opportunity for Everton, to win something in Moyes first season that the club have longed for ever since Paul Rideout scored that goal in 1995.

We spoke with our good friend Dan from The Toffee Bluecast to discuss the revolution under Moyes and the growing confidence ahead of the move for next season into Bramley Moore. Could the new stadium even be hosting European nights that Moyes brought to the Old Lady in his first spell in its opening season by winning the FA Cup?

Or can we go on a cup run and win our first ever major piece of silverware to go alongside that Championship trophy?

Let us know your thoughts...

Ahead of our game against Everton in the FA Cup in what will be our final ever game at Goodison Park before they move to the amazing new Bramley Moore Stadium, we decided to look at the return of one man who the Toffees faithful will know only so well.

David Moyes who managed the club between 2002 and 2013 has returned to Merseyside where he was held in such high regard. Everton were incredibly unlucky in 2005 to miss out on playing in the Champions League under his stewardship whilst also making the FA Cup Final in 2009.

We spoke with Ste from The Toffee Blues to get the lowdown on what has actually changed at The Old Lady and what their hopes are moving forwards.

Everton fans and AFC Bournemouth fans - let us know... are you impressed with what Moyes has done so far? Should Sean Dyche have been sacked earlier? And what does the future hold at Bramley Moore next season?

Prior to this match, AFC Bournemouth fans were in a buoyant mood. The club had demolished Nottingham Forest 5-0 at home a week beforehand (and this is a Nottingham Forest team who just before we took to the pitch, in the early kick off, thrashed Brighton and Hove Albion 7-0 at the City Ground!)

We could be forgiven thinking we might actually upset the League Leaders, a Liverpool team who have been so dominant in every competition they have played in, pretty much every game and with Mo Salah back on fire hitting the back of the net in every game he plays.

However it wasn't to be and there was plenty of controversy as after the half hour mark, Darren England the referee in the middle, gave the Reds a penalty kick which was cooly dispatched by the Egyptian who should get the Ballon D'or. But did Lewis Cook actually touch Cody Gakpo as multiple angles give contrasting thoughts.

David Brooks also had the ball in Liverpool's net but his fantastic strike was ruled out due to an offside by Milos Kerkez in the build up.

Justin Kluivert could have had a goal but missed the target before Mo scored the second, a beautiful strike, to send the Reds and Arne Slot back to Merseyside happy.

We welcomed on Jack McIndoe from Anfield Index and Anfield Road TV to discuss the game and the big decisions and what he thought of the Cherries. We go through each decision with different perspectives and cover off the star performers in the game.

Let us know what you think of the match and the decisions in the comments below and we thank Jack for joining us on this show.
