Update on Awareness

Raising awareness of PTSD and mental health for everyone, not just for Emergency Service and Military personnel, and families.
Openly talking and highlighting issues I had from my Fire Service career. Identifying Signs, Symptoms and Triggers allows you to recognise them early. Discussing self-help techniques and alternative therapies. Breaking the Stigma of Therapy and showing it's OK to NOT be OK. Being vulnerable, and asking for help takes courage. None of us knows if and when PTSD will show itself. Leading by example with a positive outlook. A community of strangers, joining together.
