Gauteng's Basic Education Department says it continues to offer psycho-social support to the siblings and family of slain teenager Likhona Fose. The department's spokesperson Steve Mabona was speaking outside the Roodepoort Magistrates Court where a 39-year-old suspect Mduduzi Mnisi, made a brief appearance to apply for bail. The court postponed the murder case as Mnisi stands accused for the murder of the 14-year-old Fose whose mutilated body was discovered in an open veld in Durban Deep West of Johannesburg. Angry community members in Carolina, Mpumalanga are planning to shutdown the area in protest over poor service delivery. The community accuses the Chief Luthuli Municipality of forcing them to pay for ineffective services. Among their concerns are the poor quality of water, and high electricity prices. United States (US) President Donald Trump has taken to social media, calling for what appears to be the total surrender of the Iranian Government. Trump returned from the G7 Summit in Canada 24 hours early and is presenting a much more muscular approach towards Iran, after urging Tehran's population of almost 10-million people to evacuate the capital as he huddles with his national security team at the White House. The South African Weather Service has issued a warning for a cold front which is expected to sweep through the Western Cape and Northern Cape provinces from today. The conditions are set to move in swiftly, with another front anticipated to follow on Thursday evening, intensifying the effects experienced in the regions and surrounding areas. The High Court in Pretoria is expected to hear an application by defence counsel, Charles Mnisi, for the dental examination of accused number three in the Senzo Meyiwa trial, Mthobisi Mncube. This follows earlier testimony, in the Pretoria High Court, where a witness mentioned seeing a gold tooth on photographs downloaded from Mncube's phone memory card. Justice Minister, Mmamoloko Kubayi says the National Prosecuting Authority is receiving the necessary support from her department despite its shortcomings. Kubayi is appearing before the parliament's portfolio committee on Justice and Constitutional Development. This comes as Batohi faces scrutiny after alleging that the NPA has been "infiltrated" by rogue elements...

The leadership of the Economic Freedom Fighters says it will assist in the identification of the 10 people who died in the crash on the R34 between Ulundi and Vryheid last night.  This comes as the death toll from the bus crash has been revised down to 10. The accident occurred when a bus carrying supporters from the party's National Youth Day rally in Durban, allegedly collided with a oncoming truck struck. While no major court is officially named after Roger Federer, a street leading to the tennis stadium in Halle, where he plays, has been named the Roger-Federer-Allee. Additionally, a tennis court at his former club in Basel, Switzerland, is named the "Roger Federer Court". Action SA says the Government of National Unity (GNU) has not lived up to its promises thus far, The party says 1 year after  the formation of the GNU not much progress has been made. Action SA has also lamented the NPA for not dealing with organized crime effectively among other issues. Residents of Eldorado Park in Johannesburg are calling on government and local officials to immediately intervene in the violence plaguing the area. This follows a recent shooting of three people over the weekend. Its alleged that unknown suspects opened fire on nine young men standing outside a mosque.
