August 04, 2017Family of Dumisani Masilela struggle with his deathThe family of Dumisani Masilela says they are struggling to come to terms with his death. 29 year old Masilela was admitted to hospital on Wednesday night after he was shot during what police believe to be an attempted hijacking in Tembisa, east of Johannesburg. Masilela is best known for his role as Sifiso Ngema on Etv soapie Rhythm City. After a car accident sidelined his professional soccer career at SuperSport United and after more than three years of rehabilitation he entered the eighth season of the M-Net singing competition Idols, in 2012.
