The fifth lion that escaped from the Kruger National Park is still on the loose 2 days after a pride of 5 lions was first spotted under a bridge on the N4 highway. Johannesburg Housing MMC Mzobanzi Ntuli has again failed to meet with the protesting residents of Kliptown in Soweto over their housing concerns. Ntuli was expected to address the community at Kliptown Square yesterday afternoon after Tuesday's planned meeting didn't materialise. Kliptown residents have been protesting since last Tuesday. More than 10 shops have been vandalised and looted in the area. Business operators say children as young as 14 are leading the looting. Northern Cape premier Sylvia Lucas has reshuffled her cabinet, ahead of the ANC's provincial conference expected to kick-start in Colesburg on Thursday. Lucas is contesting the position of chairperson with the party's provincial secretary, Zamani Saul. The four-day conference was postponed in December last year due to disputes.
