All three political parties that have asked for a motion of no confidence to be held against President Jacob Zuma, have now asked the Speaker of the National Assembly to postpone it. The DA, EFF and UDM requested that a motion of no confidence be debated - even if it means calling back MPs that are currently on recess. The Speaker agreed that a special sitting would be held next Tuesday. Meanwhile the UDM has also approached the Constitutional court for direct access - to in the end compel the National Assembly to allow a secret ballot during the motion of no confidence.
