ANC veteran Mavuso Msimang has backed the initiative taken by the ANC's Sefako Makgatho branch in Johannesburg calling on President Jacob Zuma to step down or face a disciplinary action. This is as civil organisations are planning mass mobilisation around the country to pressure President Zuma to resign. The Reserve Bank says the only way to stop increasing prices is for them to continue raising interest rates. The bank says it is doing this in order to keep inflation in check. Legal experts have dismissed President Jacob Zuma's interpretation of the constitutional court ruling. The presidency issued a statement on what it calls correction of media reports on last week's landmark ruling. It says the highest court of the land court did not find that he violated his oath of office. Senior Political Reporter Angela Bolowana reports.

TB suffers could soon have access to a so called ground-breaking drug Sirturo, also known as Bedaquiline. Researchers of this drug might be more readily available in the next few years. The Financial Services Board says the Panama paper leaks will be scruitinised with the possibility of re-investigating the Fidentia missing funds. Curators managed to recover about 200million-rand of the one pont two billion rand that was misappropriated from the Lvings Hands Umbrella Trsut fund by the asset management company, Fidentia. The Panama records fingered Fidentia as having off shore accounts where millions are stashed. Thandiswa Mawu reports
