Police Minister Nathi Nhleko has again come under fire from opposition parties for his report which exonerated President Jacob Zuma on the security upgrades at his Nkandla home. Nhleko's been accused of patronage and lacking security expertise in compiling the probe. He appeared before the Parliamentary ad hoc committee on Nkandla, sitting at the KwaZulu-Natal Legislature in Pietermaritzburg. He defended his report that lists the cattle kraal, culvert, chicken run, swimming pool and amphitheatre as part of security features. Zanele Buthelezi reports

Police will still be allowed to remove a disorderly MP from the National Assembly chamber when there is a threat to life. This was the agreement in the Sub-Rules Committee of the National Assembly's Rules Committee. The sub-committee was finalising various proposals to amend the rules that seek to strengthen the authority of the speaker and new procedures to remove disorderly MPs. A family from Vosloorus in Gauteng wants answers following the death of its member after she went to a clinic suffering from flu. Its alleged that twenty-three-year old Nonhlanhla Nyembesi went to Jabulane Dumane Clinic in Vosloorus last week where she received an injection and died the following day.
