McGraw Chair in the Treatment of Cancer, Department of Palliative, Rehabilitation and Integrative Medicine and the The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. Dr. Bruera’s main areas of interest are program development, comparative effectiveness research, and clinical studies on symptom control in palliative care. He has published more than 1200 publications, given more than 900 major invited lectures, and has received multiple NIH research grants and awards.
