Jesus is our model, our example for how to live out the gospel. He IS the Gospel.  In New Testament scripture when Jesus walked on the earth, he would parallel his ministry to men and women.  He would heal a man and then turn and heal a woman.  He would share parables about a woman, and then about a man.  He gave illustrations that women of that day would identify with and then illustrations that men of that culture would understand.  He was inclusive.  He is inclusive.  His call for us to carry the gospel is mutual to both men and women.  Jesus brought a better way to live.  The hierarchical structures are man's design.  Jesus said, "The first shall be last."  He upended everything.
