In this episode, I was joined by Laban, who has been a highly active and engaged member and supporter of the Upland community since joining way back in November 2020. Laban has pretty much been involved in and seen it all as Upland has continued to grow and develop since then, from humble beginnings as an FSA agent in Fresno working with established players (including myself), to having some epic USD flips and striving towards, and succeeding in, getting his account into the green ‘playing with house money’ status, which is a goal for many players (myself included). Laban has gone on to be a huge supporter of many Upland broadcasters and various node projects, including Lone Mountain in San Francisco and his recent move to residential status in Midtown Terrace. He’s also a metaventure owner, operating the ‘Graveyard Goods’ map assets business, from which he produces and sells a range of terrifyingly affordable gravestones that are guaranteed to help bring your properties to life—or death—while not horrifying you financially. We discussed all of that today, including his thoughts and opinions on a number of contemporary and historical Upland events, and I hope you enjoy our chat.
