Upland Down Under

In this episode, I was joined by both co-founders of the Hyde Park Ninjas, Sckicker and KO_Ninja, for the third and final round look into their growing presence within and around the Upland Metaverse. Having previously discussed their individual Upland journeys and approaches, today I set out to uncover the strategy behind the past, present, and future of what the Ninjas are building in Hyde Park, which I hope you’ll enjoy. In this episode, I was joined by Keith, aka KO_Ninja, one of the co-founders of the Hyde Park Ninjas. KO has been playing Upland since January 2022, after being introduced to the platform by fellow co-founder Sckicker, whom I chatted with in the last episode of this series. As mentioned previously, this chat is the second discussion in what will be a 3-part series featuring the Hyde Park Ninjas, with the next episode focusing on the wide variety of ways that Sckicker and KO_Ninja are engaged in and around the Upland Metaverse. Today, however, we focused on discussing some aspects of KO’s personal history and interests in Upland, including his insights and opinions on a few of the contemporary Upland happenings and events, which I hope you’ll enjoy. As you would probably expect, the Hyde Park Ninjas have a well-balanced and positive outlook on most of the goings-on in Upland. From my perspective, I appreciate how the Ninjas' critical feedback is always constructive and aimed at cutting through the chaos with calm precision. Outlining some of the many ways in which Upland can and must improve to support its vision of being a WEB3 ecosystem for digital entrepreneurs to stake their claim in the metaverse, create value, and engage with a global community of players.

On tonight's show, we catch up on the Upland market and Sparklet floors, we’ve got another Sparklet segment from Swarley, a bunch of stuff to review and reflect on from September and the later part of Sizzle season, a lot to discuss about what’s kicked off and kicking off in Harvest Season, and we’ve got a couple of mini-Upland community spotlights for the Evergreen Lahser and Creedmoor nodes. The main topic for tonight's show is "THE INESCAPABLE BONE-CHILLING HORRORS OF UPLAND”. Discussing some of the many ways in which Upland can and must improve to support their vision of being a WEB3 ecosystem for digital entrepreneurs to stake their claim in the metaverse, create value, and engage with a global community of players. This includes the first episode of ‘Story Time With BEN68’ and an 8 chapter rant that was produced from the recent community sentiment survey on the Horrors of Upland. We’ve also got QIPS on a whole bunch of stuff, and we'll take a look at another Upland community member spotlight, courtesy of the Dynamic Node Builders team. In this live stream, I'll again be attempting to broadcast from my new podcasting space, to outline a massive giveaway campaign for the Evergreen Lahser 7/8 neighborhood development collaborative in Detroit, and go through some of the recent Upland news and events.

In this episode, I was joined by Jsawyer, one of the co-founders of the upcoming Next World platform being built for the Upland Metaverse. J has been playing Upland since late 2019, becoming an official Uplander in February 2020, and he’s maintained a slow and steady growth of his account since. That’s all starting to change as Next World begins to take shape however, and it presents quite a paradox with my own Upland journey, where I started off big and have recently dialled my engagement levels way back. We discussed all of that today, along with some personal history and his insights and opinions on various Upland and WEB3-related topics, which I hope you enjoy despite several moments of lag and various other technical difficulties we navigated. As you’ll find out in our discussions, J and the team are highly experienced WEB3 creators, placing Next World in a truly unique position, primed for massive success within and beyond the Upland Metaverse. And who knows? From the sounds of what they are building, it might finally be a Layer 2 that captures my attention and interest and could be the catalyst that ramps up my own engagement levels again. Time will tell on that one. What is exceptionally clear though, is that Jsawyer is a man with a plan for this world and Next World in 'The Metaverse and Beyond!'.
