  1. Be receptive to your clients and how you can serve them- they notice how you make them feel
  • We stay stuck because we worked so hard to get where we are and pay our dues that we want the payoff. Instead, a bigger payoff can come from realizing that success can come in a different way.
  • Open yourself up to the ease and grace of going down a career path that feels good to you.
  • Be the example of the culture you want to have. Others are watching what you do, because it matters more than what you say.
  • Live your core values and highlight how your team is implementing them.
  • It's easy to have trust when things are going well, but it's more important to cultivate it when they are not by being a supportive leader.
  • Share stories to help your team prepare for difficult clients or situations. Communication empowers and transparency enlightens.
