Tina shares the powerful story of Alexandra House, from its origins in a social justice group in 1976 to the establishment of the first emergency shelter in Anoka County by 1980, and its expansion to serve the entire seven-county metro area. We explore the heartbreaking realities faced by individuals affected by violence and highlight the transformative journeys of resilience and recovery that Alexandra House supports.
