Every classic movie adds music to heighten the suspense of the story. From movies like Jaws to Rocky to Star Wars to Jurassic Park, music adds to the impact a movie scene has on a person. Even if you don’t know what’s happening, you can tell by the crescendo of the soundtrack you’ve reached an important part of the film. The music is changing in the Upper Room and we’re getting close to the climax of the Gospel of John. In John 17, we discover the longest prayer in the New Testament as Jesus prays before He is arrested.
