Did I pay you to learn how to ride or did you pay me?! This is a question I asked a motorcycle student who continued to struggle with a straight forward skill because he had convinced himself he had to do it perfect or else. OR ELSE WHAT is the real question.
Perfectionism is actually an action we chose to avoid doing the thing in the first place. Because it conveniently paralyzes us so we don’t have to do the thing. The trouble is, that then we judge ourselves for not doing the thing and then we push harder to do make it more perfect and then we judge ourselves even harder.
How Motorcycle Riding Can Transform Your Life
As riders, we're inherently wired for adventure. The moment we swing our leg over that saddle, we're making a conscious choice to embrace the unknown, to challenge ourselves, and to embark on a journey where every twist of the throttle can bring new surprises. It's the adventure of a lifetime, on two wheels.
So, why is this relevant to you, regardless of how long you’ve ridden or what kind of riding you’ve done? Well, because the lessons we learn on our bikes are universal. Consider me your guide to help you connect your riding skills into your everyday life using what I call your Moto Mindset.
You see, I've been passionate about riding and teaching motorcycling for well over 2 decades! The wind in your face, the awesome road, the freedom, the people; it's an experience like no other. Over the years I realized something awesome!
The mindset I used to ride my bike and coach riders could be applied to every day life! This changed everything for me, and all I’ve wanted to do since then is share it with anyone and everyone!
I call it the Moto Mindset.
