The cheery couple, Erika and Malcolm, are self-proclaimed ‘urban cowboys’ that knew exactly where they wanted to have their wedding. They decided on the Bird’s Eye Cove Farm, located on Vancouver Island. The story behind the choice is adorable.

The Bird’s Eye Cove Farm is a sprawling three hundred acre property, which is owned by Erika’s close friend and maid of honour, Sara. Growing up, Erika spent her summers visiting Sara at the farm.

A few summers had passed since Erika had visited the farm, but she returned to celebrate Sara’s college graduation. This is when she met Malcolm, a long-time friend of Sara.

After the celebration, Erika returned home to Manitoba and Malcolm remained on Vancouver Island. The adorable pair stayed in touch and a year later Erika moved to Vancouver Island and the pair started officially dating, they feel in love, got engaged, and six summers after their first meeting they got married.

Erica and Malcolm were married on the 14th of August 2010. Congratulations Erika and Malcolm and thank you Jamie Delaine Photography for sharing these deliciously good wedding photos.
