Born in South Africa, Donald Schultz is a world-renowned venom expert, writer, photographer and adventurer and has been in the public eye for most of his life. Donald started to work with reptiles at the age of 13 and was fortunate to have an internship at the world-famous Fitzsimons Snake Park, where he received a sound schooling in herpetology. By Donald giving demonstrations and spending endless hours studying snake behavior, catching venomous snakes became second nature, and his fascination with these creatures became the bedrock of his career.

His love affair with dangerous activities extends beyond just his work, and he tries to incorporate the two whenever possible. He is an avid skydiver and a highly specialized scuba diver, having been certified as the youngest CLASS II commercial diver in Africa.

Donald has recently been featured in Animal Planet's newst wildlife adventure series "Wild Recon" and recently in "Venom in Vegas" where Don shared tight quarters with dozens of venomous snakes to raise awareness for international snake bite victims.

Thea was born in Swaziland and is the third generation in her family to live there. After developing a profound interest in snakes while helping her son with a school project; Thea began training professionally in snake handling and began responding to emergency calls from locals, removing and rescuing snakes they found. Many of which happen to be the most venomous snakes in the world, the BLACK MAMBA!

Frustrated by the lack of medical services and in particular life-saving antivenoms, Thea and her reluctant but incredibly supportive husband Clifton have set up a charity Antivenom Swazi to raise funds to establish to treat snake bite victims in Swaziland. Antivenom Swazi hopes to establish an antivenom bank that can provide free antivenoms to snake bite victims throughout the country, and plans to maintain emergency stocks in two locations so that antivenom can reach any patient who needs it by road within 2 hours.
