Be Water marks a new chapter for Mauricesax — a vibrant electro‑jazz album where Mediterranean warmth meets modern electronic production. Expanding on the shimmering atmosphere of the lead single Cyprus Vibes, the project blends expressive saxophone work with textured beats, electric piano, and fluid improvisation.
The album features an international roster of collaborators, including drummer Gianluca Pellerito, producers Bao, Venuz Beats, Gianni’s Humble, Magro, and instrumentalists such as Telemakus, Delia Li, Rémi Cormier, ToddChamp, Akshay Iyer, and Lytmus. Several tracks were recorded live at Labrutepoque in Milan, with engineering by Simone Coen, adding an organic, performance‑driven energy to the project.
Across its compositions, Be Water moves between chillout, nu‑jazz, and soulful electronic grooves — offering a sound that is warm, melodic, and transportive. It’s a record built on flow: between genres, between artists, and between moments of introspection and sunlight.
A modern jazz journey shaped by collaboration, emotion, and the freedom to move like water.
