Urban Waves

Mist of Dreams is the collaboration album between two amazing producers respectively from Slovenia & Italy. Lo-fi and instrumental hip hop fans are in for a treat! If you like the dusty crackling of a vinyl and listening to some fresh beats and inventive cuts and bass lines. You're in the right place. This isn't just another lo-fi beat album though, it brings lots of original ideas. A hazy atmosphere and retro theme as well as very satisfying jazzy and funky theme.

The album comes with the beautiful original art by graphic novel illustrator Bernad Kolle.

Blameful Isles makes its return with "This Heart Of Our Heart" a spiritual journey of self discovery. The story of this beautiful album comes from the heart and talks directly to the heart. Open your chakras through meditation and music. Elevate your mind and discover so much more about your own self than you could have imagined possible. Don't limit yourself in any way, shape or form and absorb this experience directly, without superimposition. Your mind, soul and heart can form together an infinite number of possibilities. This album is focused specially on the heart, the chakra from which comes compassion, love and integration. We believe this world always needs more of that.

Toonorth is a young and very talented producer from Oregon, USA. He has released many projects on digital and tapes but this is his first album that comes on vinyl! This project showcases a side of Toonorth's production that people don't get to see very often that's why the album is called Rare Views. In a very hazy atmosphere you can expect dusty and crackling beats with laid back melodies sometimes accompanied by brainy rap from featuring artists such as bzkt, lordapex, 18sense and thenamesmillen. The vinyl even comes with a bonus track that can only be heard on the wax! Make yourself happy and buy a copy of this limited & very "rare views" album by Toonorth.

With Zazen, René Schier offers us a ticket into a parallel universe where the laws of physics are different. You'll find yourself floating in air and walking on water. A place where your dreams are reality and reality is just a dream.

With deep jazzy melodies and abstract beats, Zazen transcends music genres, we are somewhere in between. Let yourself go, open a window to your inner vision, here's a great piece of music to meditate to. But rest assured heavy head nodding is part of the ritual!

The Urban Waves family wishes you a very happy holiday season!

Please enjoy this complementary album from the team! This is a very private (and probably too short) "in house" compilation from our very own crew. Not the entire roster could make it but we're very happy to share the love and we've been blessed with all exclusive tracks just for this occasion.

Big thanks :

To all our amazing artists, you guys always deliver the best imaginable.

To Alex Brade for the artwork and always being there for us.

To Radio Juicy for another beautiful year of collaboration.

To Turbo Tape, Boyoom, Blvnt, WTM (and soon to be Inner Ocean) for their trust and joining us in this great adventure.

To HHV for believing in us and enabling many opportunities.

and of course

To all of our fans for being amazing and support us, this wouldn't be possible with you.

Have a wonderful Holiday Season and a Happy New Year!

We hope you stay warm, safe and surrounded by loved ones!

See you in 2017!
