It is an instrumental piece composed by Alan Menken for the soundtrack of the 2010 Disney film, Tangled. It is composed primarily with a folk-Celtic influence, beginning as a lively 3/4 dance and evolving into an energetic gigue.

I love the movie Tangled, and its soundtrack is simply amazing, especially since most of the pieces are written with Celtic influences (one of my favorite cultures), and the use of the recorder as the main instrument excites me even more 🥹. This demonstrates the instrument's versatility and its importance within the history and culture of some civilizations. Learning the song was quite a challenge; however, I wanted to add many more details to make the instrument stand out.

>Amo la película de Enredados y su banda sonora, ni se diga, especialmente porque la mayoría de las piezas están escritas bajo influencias celtas (una de mis culturas favoritas) y el uso de la flauta dulce como instrumento principal me emociona aún más 🥹. Esto demuestra la versatilidad del instrumento y su importancia dentro de la historia y cultura de algunas civilizaciones. Aprenderme la canción fue todo un reto; sin embargo, quise agregarle muchos más detalles para destacar con el instrumento.


I must also admit that this is the first time I've done such a complete cover with these three flutes. I hope to do more covers soon, incorporating all the recorder voices as much as possible. I feel that this combination, while not overly complex, is quite beautiful sonically, and the sopranino adds that medieval Celtic feel that I most wanted to highlight in the entire piece. I really loved the ending, and I'm sure you'll also feel how much work it took; that part required many takes.

>También debo admitir que es la primera vez que hago un cover tan completo con estas tres flautas. Espero poder realizar más covers próximamente, incorporando todas las voces de flautas dulces en la medida de lo posible. Siento que esta combinación, aunque no es tan complicada, es bastante hermosa sonoramente, y la sopranino le aporta ese sentimiento medieval celta que más quería resaltar de toda la pieza. El final realmente me encantó y estoy seguro de que también te transmitirá lo mucho que me costó hacerlo; fueron muchas tomas en esa parte.


I think the least enjoyable part for me is the recording; there are so many takes, and I like everything to be 100% perfect. It usually takes me a whole day to record, edit, and upload the content, but in the end, it's worth it to deliver a quality product. Although I initially wanted to perform only the fast part of the song, because of how iconic it is, I finally decided to play it in its entirety, but in my own style and with some adjustments that really made the idea work perfectly 🤗

Usualmente me lleva todo un día grabar, editar y subir el contenido a la red, pero al final, vale la pena al presentar un trabajo de calidad. Regarding the cover, although it seemed impossible, it took me several minutes of editing, but I finally managed it. I wanted the concept of "Tangled" to be understood and to capture the essence of the film and the piece in general, especially highlighting its Celtic roots.

En esta grata oportunidad, quiero presentarles una marcha solemne de procesión llamada "La Esperanza de María", en conmemoración de la Semana Santa, en un pequeño cover de flauta dulce. Since it's Holy Week, I wanted to record a song I've known since the year before last, one that has deeply moved me. This march is of Andalusian origin, composed by the musician Alejandro Blanco Hernández and premiered in 2012 by the Banda Solemne de Andalucía. It has become very popular in processions related to Our Lady of Sorrows, especially on Good Friday, and lately it has gone viral on TikTok with videos of these important celebrations in Andalusia, such as the processions in Guatemala, Andalusia, and the Vatican.

>Aprovechando que estamos en Semana Santa, quise grabar una canción que conozco desde el año antepasado y que me ha conmovido profundamente. It's a very emotional and moving melody. I must admit that the first time I heard it in a procession, I cried. That was one of the reasons why it was a little difficult to record it without bursting into tears. It's not a very complicated song for the recorder, although I can't say the same for the trumpet range, for which it was written. It became a bit easier during the editing process. I didn't want to make many arrangements; I wanted the soprano to be the soloist throughout. I wanted to make it as moving as possible, obviously in my own way. Honestly, I think it's a very beautiful song that reminds me of my roots, since I grew up in a Catholic family, and Holy Week for me is a symbol of respect, prayer, faith, and above all, solemnity.

>Es una melodía muy emotiva y conmovedora. Debo admitir que la primera vez que la escuché en una procesión, lloré. Esa fue una de las razones por las cuales fue un poco complicado grabarla sin que se me escaparan las lágrimas. No es una canción muy complicada para el registro de la flauta dulce, aunque no puedo decir lo mismo para el registro de las trompetas, para el cual está escrita. Al momento de editar, se me hizo un poco más fácil. No quise hacerle muchos arreglos, sino que la soprano fuese la solista en todo momento. Quise hacerla lo más conmovedora posible, obviamente a mi manera. La verdad, me parece una canción muy bonita que me recuerda mis raíces, ya que crecí en una familia católica y la Semana Santa para mí es el símbolo de respeto, oración, fe y, sobre todo, solemnidad.


For me, this march is nothing more than a vivid reminder that, even when days turn dark, we must always maintain a glimmer of hope, like the hope the Virgin Mary had when her son was crucified. It also reminds me of a video I saw some time ago that explained the feelings of Catholics worldwide when witnessing processions and the saints in these kinds of events. Many people might say they weep before the statues, but the reality is that they weep and embrace the memory these images evoke: the memory of grandparents who instilled the Catholic faith and are no longer with us, of people who were with us on our journey and, sadly, have passed away. Seeing the processions and our saints is not worshipping images; it is embracing a culture that has accompanied us from the moment we are born until the moment we die, and passing it on from generation to generation.

>Para mí, esta marcha no es más que el vívido recuerdo de que, a pesar de que los días se tornen oscuros, siempre hay que mantener una mínima esperanza, como la que tuvo la Virgen María en el momento en que su hijo fue crucificado. Además, me recuerda un video que vi hace tiempo, que explicaba el sentimiento de los católicos en todo el mundo al presenciar las procesiones y los santos en este tipo de manifestaciones. Mucha gente puede opinar que lloran ante las estatuas, pero la realidad es que lloran y abrazan el recuerdo que estas imágenes evocan: el recuerdo de los abuelos que inculcaron la fe católica y ya no están, de personas que estuvieron con nosotros en nuestro camino y, lamentablemente, se fueron. Ver las procesiones y nuestros santos no es adorar imágenes, es abrazar una cultura que nos ha acompañado desde el momento en que nacemos hasta el momento en que vamos a morir, y transmitirla de generación en generación.

I wanted to work on the song in sections and add more vocals, so it was a bit complicated, since I knew what I wanted to achieve from the beginning, but putting it into practice was the real challenge. However, everything turned out great 🤗. Personally, I really love ABBA; I've been listening to them since I was little, but this song is my obsession. As always, I didn't want to alter the main essence of the original version (and this is essential when arranging songs).

That's why it's important to listen to it from beginning to end. They will always be one of my favorite groups, and this song even more so, because back in 2022-23 it was at the top of my playlist and I listened to it on my way to school, which gives it great sentimental value for me. Furthermore, the flute is the instrument that most closely resembles the singers' voices, so I decided not to include the alto and let the soprano shine. If I had had sopraninos, I would have included the sopranina as well.

>Hola, mi querida comunidad de música. Espero que se encuentren bien. Paso por aquí para desearles a todos un muy feliz año 2026, lleno de cosas buenas, excelentes y muchas metas cumplidas. Después de un largo tiempo inactiva, gracias a Dios puedo activarme un poco más. En esta oportunidad, quiero compartirles un pequeño recorrido de lo que fue el concierto de Navidad y fin de año de la cátedra de flauta dulce, en compañía de una reducción de la orquesta Alma Llanera y de la agrupación profesional del sistema Le Fénix Consort. Espero que les agrade.


During the first term, from October to December, we focused on performing Venezuelan Renaissance and, of course, Christmas repertoire. In the Christmas section, we were able to develop a medley of popular Venezuelan songs with the beginner children, who performed excellently and learned it very quickly. They are all very studious and outstanding children. In the flute class, the more advanced level worked on pieces such as "Oh Luna," and in the Le Fénix section, we developed a repertoire related to traditional Christmas music and, of course, to Venezuelan Christmas carols, including pieces such as "Ángeles Cantando Están" and "Adeste Fideles." As for the Venezuelan section, we performed classics such as "Aguinaldo Margariteño" and "Gaita Onomatopédica," among others.

>Durante el primer trimestre de clases, que abarcó de octubre a diciembre, nos enfocamos en interpretar repertorios venezolanos renacentistas y, por supuesto, navideños. En la sección navideña, pudimos desarrollar un popurrí de temas populares venezolanos con los niños de iniciación, quienes lo hicieron de manera excelente y lo aprendieron muy rápidamente. Todos son niños muy estudiosos y sobresalientes. En la cátedra de flauta, el nivel más avanzado trabajó temas como "Oh Luna", y en la parte de Le Fénix desarrollamos un repertorio relacionado con la Navidad antigua y, por supuesto, con los venezolanos en la parte antigua, incluyendo temas como "Ángeles Cantando Están" y "Adeste Fideles". En cuanto a la parte venezolana, interpretamos clásicos como "Aguinaldo Margariteño" y "Gaita Onomatopédica", entre otros.


We decided to perform the concert at the City Arts Museum, also within the framework of its anniversary. It should be noted that this museum, in times of crisis and pandemic, was unattended and it was not until recently that it entered into reconstruction. The original pieces were sent for maintenance and the museum is now very well preserved. We had the opportunity to see the entire art gallery and the sculptures that predominate there. In addition, the museum staff was very attentive and quite charismatic with us. We have a large audience, including the representatives of the young people, as well as some authorities of the Ministry of Culture who were able to appreciate our participation. Obviously, the group that accompanied us also performed some pieces from their own Christmas repertoire, and it was a very nice work together.

>Decidimos realizar el concierto en el museo de artes de la ciudad, también en el marco de su aniversario. Cabe destacar que este museo, en tiempos de crisis y pandemia, estuvo desatendido y no fue hasta hace poco que entró en reconstrucción. Las piezas originales fueron enviadas a mantenimiento y el museo está ahora muy bien conservado. Tuvimos la oportunidad de ver toda la galería de arte y las esculturas que allí predominan. Además, el personal del museo fue muy atento y bastante carismático con nosotros. Contamos con una audiencia numerosa, entre ellos los representantes de los jóvenes, así como algunas autoridades del ministerio de cultura que pudieron apreciar nuestra participación. Obviamente, el grupo que nos acompañó también interpretó algunas piezas de su propio repertorio navideño, y fue un trabajo en conjunto muy bonito.


In addition to all of this, the community surrounding the museum also joined our concert. We were joined by poets, writers, sculptors, and a group of teenagers from a nearby high school, who participated in the concert by offering a short narrative about the birth of Jesus. All of this significantly strengthened the bond between the community and the various institutions, such as the school system and the museum, among others that promote culture and keep this part of the city alive. We also had the participation of a folk dance school, where we were able to see the Joropo Tuyero, as well as a dance similar to flamenco but with an Aragua style, among other nationalistic dances that I was unaware existed in the state.

>Además de todo esto, la comunidad donde se encuentra el museo también se unió a nuestro concierto. Contamos con la presencia de poetas, escritores, escultores y una comisión de adolescentes de uno de los liceos cercanos, quienes participaron en el concierto ofreciendo una pequeña narrativa sobre el nacimiento del Niño Dios. Todo esto reforzó significativamente la unión entre la comunidad y las diferentes instituciones, como el sistema y el museo, entre otras que promueven la cultura y mantienen viva esta parte de la ciudad. También tuvimos la participación de una escuela de danza folclórica, donde pudimos observar el joropo tuyero, así como una danza similar al flamenco, pero con estilo aragüeño, entre otras danzas nacionalistas que desconocía que existían en el estado.


The youngest students did an excellent job. I think the most incredible thing about them is that they have no stage fright and aren't afraid to perform in public; they're quite outgoing and very cheerful. With them, we achieved our main goal. The same thing happened with the middle grades, who, in addition to performing the group repertoire, also presented some soloists with songs like "Niño Jesús Llanero" and "Candelaria." On this occasion, I performed as a soloist with "La Barca de Oro." I must admit it was quite improvised, since, due to unforeseen circumstances, I hadn't been able to rehearse with the accompanying musicians. That same day, 20 minutes before the performance began, I was able to meet them and rehearse with them. We connected very quickly, and everything went very well from beginning to end. I think one of the best things about being a musician is when you connect with other musicians, in the sense that, with just a look, they know when you're going to finish, when you can repeat a section, or if you can improvise. That's one of the beautiful things about music: it's a universal language that allows us to communicate and express ourselves without saying a single word. Of course, it's not ideal, but when it has to be done, well, that's just how it is.

>Los más pequeños lo hicieron excelente. Creo que lo más increíble de todo es que no tienen pánico escénico y no les da miedo presentarse en público; son bastante extrovertidos y muy alegres. Con ellos se logró el objetivo principal. Lo mismo ocurrió con los grados medios, quienes, además de montar el repertorio grupal, también presentaron algunos solistas con canciones como "Niño Jesús Llanero" y "Candelaria". En esta oportunidad, yo me presenté como solista con "La Barca de Oro". Debo admitir que fue algo bastante improvisado, ya que, por cuestiones externas, no había podido ensayar con los acompañantes. Ese mismo día, 20 minutos antes de que comenzara la presentación, pude conocerlos y ensayar con ellos. Conectamos bastante rápido y todo salió muy bien de principio a fin. Creo que una de las mejores cosas de ser músico es cuando conectas con otros músicos, en el sentido de que, con una sola mirada, ellos saben cuándo vas a terminar, cuándo puedes repetir o si puedes realizar alguna improvisación. Es algo muy hermoso de la música, que es un lenguaje universal que nos permite comunicarnos y expresarnos sin necesidad de decir una sola palabra. Claro, lo ideal no es hacerlo así, pero bueno, cuando toca, pues ni modo.


The Phoenix also fulfilled its main objectives. We were able to put together a repertoire in the format we've been working with for several seasons: the sextet, sometimes a quintet, and other times a quartet. This season, two new students joined us and have exceeded expectations; they are quite intelligent and bright. We presented not only Venezuelan Christmas music, but also Renaissance and Baroque pieces, in this recorder orchestra format. Of course, we need more flutes, such as the bass and contrabass, among others, but the work has been progressing, and the audience has noticed, which is what's important. Absolutely every piece was perfect, which was our biggest concern. There were a few minor issues on stage due to nerves, but they were easily handled and no one noticed.

>La Fénix también cumplió con sus objetivos principales. Pudimos montar un repertorio en el formato que hemos venido trabajando desde hace algunas temporadas: el sexteto, a veces quinteto y en otras ocasiones cuarteto. En esta temporada se han añadido dos nuevos estudiantes que han sabido cumplir con las expectativas; son bastante inteligentes y brillantes. Presentamos no solo música venezolana navideña, sino también renacentista y barroca, en este formato de orquesta de flauta dulce. Claro, nos hacen falta más flautas, como la bajo y la contrabajo, entre otras, pero el trabajo se ha venido realizando y la gente lo ha notado, que es lo importante. Absolutamente todas las piezas salieron perfectas, que era lo que más nos preocupaba. Hubo algunas pequeñas cosas que ocurrieron en escena por los nervios, pero en el momento se supieron controlar y nadie se dio cuenta.


At the end of the presentation, we had a moment to share, and the museum staff allowed the children to paint a bull, one of the most iconic works by José Abreu, a painter from Aragua whose name the museum bears. The children were delighted to paint the bull with the crayons and chalk they were provided, and they thoroughly enjoyed their recreational activity.

>Al finalizar toda la presentación, tuvimos un momento para compartir y la gente del museo permitió que los niños pintaran un toro, una de las obras más icónicas de un pintor aragüeño cuyo nombre lleva el museo, José Abreu. I must admit that I haven't seen Naruto😅 however my younger brother did like it a lot and before we had the habit of watching the episodes together when they were on television. That's where I discovered this great gem of an iconic opening, and the song was so catchy that I played it on a separate recorder that has a very nice motivational message and these days watching Tik tok I came across a video with the song in the background and that motivated me to finish arranging it to record it and the result was simply wonderful🎼.

All this started by listening to the track many times and there I was able to make it as close as possible to the original. I also saw videos on tiktok of the notes but I was not completely convinced since I wanted to do it in the original tone of the song. This way I was able to add some bridges and the occasional ornament in my own way. I was thinking of using the alto, then I gave up on this idea since the timbre that best suited the song and the message it has was the soprano and the arrangements I had planned to make also suited the soprano, so I had to record quite a few times but everything turned out well.

>Todo esto empezó escuchando muchas veces la pista y allí pude realizarla lo más parecido posible a la original también vi videos en tiktok de las notas pero no me convencía del todo ya que quería hacerlo en el tono original de la canción de esta manera pude colocarle unos puentes y uno que otro adornito a mi manera, estaba pensando en utilizar la contralto después desistí de esta idea ya que el timbre que le quedaba mejor a la canción y por el mensaje que tiene era la soprano y los arreglos que tenía pensado hacer también le quedaban era a la soprano, entonces tuve que grabar bastantes veces pero todo salió bien.


Definitely making this cover motivated me to resume a forgotten project I had of taking openings and endings of anime that I've seen and I really liked, such as Inuyasha, among others, so I will most likely make that collection and some others I made a very good arrangements. I think taking songs by ear and perfecting it is one of the most effective methods to train and educate the musical ear, in this way it will be a little easier for us to be able to identify complicated sounds such as diminished minor triads, dissonances, among others and in this way we will be able to improvise a little easier, because yes, for improvisation you need the intensive and exhaustive study of the sounds, specifically of the minor and major scales, of the tones and precisely the ear is a key tool to be able to perfect these types of techniques.One of the biggest lessons I learned from this project was being able to change keys quickly. For comfort and sound reasons, I had to lower the song to the key of A minor. I thought I was going to hear things wrong, but the result was quite the opposite, and this way I was able to better explore and experience the arrangements and embellishments I wanted to make.

>Definitivamente realizar este cover me motivó a retomar un olvidado proyecto que tenía de sacar openings y endings de animes que he visto y me han gustado mucho, cómo lo fue el de Inuyasha, entre otros, así que muy probablemente haga esa colección y uno que otros les realicé un muy buen arreglo. Creo que sacar canciones a oído y perfeccionarla es uno de los métodos más efectivo para entrenar y educar el oído musical, de esta forma se nos va a hacer un poco más fácil el poder identificar sonidos complicados como lo son las tríadas menores disminuidas, las disonancias, entre otras más y de esta manera podemos improvisar un poco más fácil, porque sí, para la improvisación se necesita el estudio intensivo y, exhaustivo de los sonidos específicamente de las escalas menores, mayores, de los tonos y precisamente el oído es herramienta clave para poder perfeccionar este tipo de técnicas.Uno de los mayores aprendizajes que me dejó este proyecto fue lograr cambiar de tonalidades rápido, por motivos de comodidad- sonoridad tuve que bajar la canción al tono de La menor, pensé que sí iba a escuchar mal pero el resultado fue todo lo contrario y así pude tener una mejor exploración y experiencia de los arreglos y adornos que quería hacer.

As many of you already know, I have been in a band for two years, however this year I could not be very active due to university and work issues, therefore I missed many parades, contests and presentations, I was hoping to return at some point and well ... The opportunity came to me and I did not waste it, I was able to rehearse again although my main instrument is the trombone in C major in this new theme 2025-2026 they switched me to the Bass Drum, so I was thinking that I would go out to the presentations with that instrument, however things took an unexpected turn and the director of the Band sent me to Lira 😅 something that took me out of my comfort zone because I have not played the instrument for a long time

>Cómo muchos ya saben estoy en banda desde hace dos años sin embargo este año no pude estar muy activa por cuestiones de la universidad y el trabajo por lo tanto me perdí de muchos desfiles, concursos y presentaciones, tenía la esperanza de volver en una oportunidad y pues ... La oportunidad me llegó y no la desaproveche, pude volver a ensayar aunque mi instrumento principal es el trombón en Do mayor en esta nueva temática 2025-2026 me pasaron al Bombo, así que tenía pensando que saldría a las presentaciones con ese instrumento, sin embargo las cosas dieron un giro inesperado y el director de la Banda me mandó a Lira 😅 algo que me sacó de mi sona de confort porque tengo mucho tiempo que no toco el instrumento


I had to prepare in a full rehearsal and learn all the songs that were going to be used in the parade. Our presentation was in the community of the Virgin of Coromoto. On that day, they held a solemn mass and a procession where we were accompanied by the band from nearby our municipality, Tepuy Roraima. They went in front of the procession and we played at the back. Our repertoire consisted of old pieces from previous seasons and new songs that we are working on like "Lambada", for this season we couldn't miss the gems like the "80's merengue mix" and salsa caleña, the presentation lasted 5 hours we started at 6:30 and finished at 10 at night, then they gave us a small snack in the church followed by the group photo between the bands and some of the people who make life in that community, we were received very well we had very nice and friendly attention, obviously the bochinche could not be missed so finishing the presentation and after having eaten a good snack our bands joined in a traditional fish wheel and we started to play, dance, we did competitions and instrument challenges like conga challenge, timbales, conga vs tambora and so on, we spent a very pleasant time with our sister band tepuy, we even went on the same bus (incredibly if we fit), we arrived at the base of the Band around 11:30 at night and we ended up going home at 12 tired but happy, this time I was able to parade with my cousin, only now I was in a lyre and she was in a grenadier, however they were very beautiful moments of happiness since we had not gone out for a long time, so this parade was unforgettable and very pleasant.

>Me tuve que preparar en una ensayo completo y aprenderme todas las canciones que iban para el desfile, nuestra presentación fue en la comunidad de la Virgen de Coromoto, por su día realizaron una misa solemne y una procesión en donde nos acompañó la banda cercana a nuestro municipio Tepuy Roraima, ellos iban adelante y nosotros atrás de la procesión tocando. Nuestro repertorio estuvo compuesto por piezas viejas de anteriores temporadas y de canciones nuevas que estamos trabajando como "Lambada", para esta temporada no pudieron faltar las joyitas como el "mix de merengue de los 80"y salsa caleña, la presentación tuvo una duración de 5 horas empezamos a las 6:30 y terminamos a las 10 de la noche, después nos dieron un pequeño refrigerio en la iglesia seguido de la foto grupal entre las bandas y parte de las personas que hacen vida en esa comunidad, nos recibieron muy bien tuvimos una atención muy bonita y amable, obviamente no podía faltar el bochinche así que terminando la presentación y después de haber comido un buen refrigerio nuestras bandas se unieron en una rueda de pescado tradicional y nos pusimos a tocar, bailar, hicimos competencias y retos de instrumentos como reto de congas, timbales, congas vs tambora y así sucesivamente, pasamos un rato muy ameno con nuestra banda hermana tepuy ,hasta nos fuimos en el mismo autobús (increíblemente si cupimos), llegamos a la base de la Banda a eso de las 11:30 de la noche y terminamos yendo a la casa a las 12 cansadas pero felices, en esta oportunidad puede desfilar con mi prima hermana solo que ahora yo en lira y ella en granadero, sin embargo fueron momentos de felicidad muy bonitos ya que teníamos mucho tiempo sin salir las dos así que este desfile fue inolvidable y muy ameno.


It was a unique experience, I really missed being in this type of events and in advance I thank my director for the opportunity to return to the bandistico world again, I must admit that my band has made some changes, I met new members, paraded with old friends and remembered many old times, this wonderful night will remain engraved in my heart and mind for a long time waiting to share moments like this again, it was a wonderful experience my first time going out on a lyre and it is something that is priceless and has no words to explain the adrenaline that runs through your veins when you play and parade while you dance playing the best you can exceeding your physical limits all bathed in sweat but it is part of the experience💛🩵.

>Fue una experiencia única, yo extrañaba mucho estar en este tipo de eventos y de antemano agradezco a mi director por la oportunidad de volver otra vez al mundo bandistico, debo admitir que mi banda ha hecho algunos cambios, conocí nuevos integrantes desfile con viejos amigos y recordé muchos viejos tiempos, está noche tan maravillosa se quedará grabada en mi corazón y mente por muchísimo tiempo esperando volver a compartir momentos de este tipo, fue toda una experiencia maravillosa mi primera vez saliendo en lira y es algo que no tiene ni precio ni palabras para explicar la adrenalina que corre por tus venas al momento de tocar y desfilar mientras bailas tocando lo mejor que puedes sobrepasando tus límites físicos todo bañado en sudor pero es parte de la experiencia💛🩵.

>Hace más o menos un mes me vi la película con una prima y la verdad no le tenía mucha fé, sin embargo me gustó mucho no solo por la animación sino por las canciones 😍😍😍 el registro de Rumi en inglés es simplemente sublime, la canción que se llevo mi corazón fue Golden, es pegadiza, tiene un mensaje bonito y sobre todo buenas vibras 🎶😊 por esa razón me animé a grabarla con la flauta 🪈🎶.


It had been a long time since I recorded this type of content, however the movie inspired me to record again. I had a lot of fun with the process of this post, sometimes instead of playing I started singing as if I were Rumi 🎶🎶😅, I had to listen to the track several times to be able to adapt it to the original and so that the essence of the movie along with my essence could be perceived, I wanted that when they watch the video they feel the good vibes of the song and brighten their day 😊😊. Movies have the power to influence people and give messages to society, k-popers Hunters was no exception, I feel that it united a lot of people regardless of whether they listened to K-pop or not, something that is super difficult to do.

>Tenía mucho tiempo que no grababa este tipo de contenido, sin embargo la película me inspiro a volver a grabar. Me divertí mucho con el proceso de este post, algunas veces en vez de tocar me ponía a cantar como si fuera Rumi 🎶🎶😅, me tocó escuchar la pista varias veces para poder adaptarla a la original y que la esencia de la peli junto con mi esencia fueran percibidas, quise que cuando vean el video sientan la buena vibra de la canción y alegre su día 😊😊.Las películas tienen el poder de influir en las personas y dar mensajes a la sociedad, k-popers Hunters no fue la excepción, siento que unió a mucha gente sin importar si escuchaban K-pop o no, algo que es súper difícil de hacer.

My biggest challenge was getting the flute to sing, and sound soft but at the same time strong, powerful and lively, I wanted to capture the essence of Rumi however I think I achieved it, I loved the result although I mainly wanted to make an arrangement with the three flutes to record them that way but it was a little complicated for me since it is no secret that when making arrangements the harmony has to fit very well and sometimes you have to modify the original track on which one is recording, which is why it was easier for me to record the main voice of the song and well add a little bit of my essence to it. I am also very happy because I have a new flute hehehe after a long time I was able to buy a professional flute, I have been planning to do it for months and it turned out well thank God, little by little I will be buying the flutes that I am missing, I will be uploading videos so that you can observe the different flutes that exist and about the professional range, so this video clip is quite important to me for that reason❤️.

>Mi mayor reto fue lograr que la flauta cantará, y se escuchara suave pero a la vez fuerte, potente y vivaz, quería captar la esencia de Rumi sin embargo creo que lo logré, me encantó el resultado aunque principalmente quería hacer un arreglo con las tres flautas grabarlas de esa manera pero se me complicó un poquito ya que para nadie es un secreto, que al realizar arreglos la armonía tiene que cuadrar muy bien y a veces toca modificar la pista original sobre la que uno está grabando por lo cual se me hizo más fácil grabar la voz principal de la canción y bueno agregarle un poquito de mi esencia.También estoy muy feliz porque estreno flauta nueva jejeje después de un largo tiempo pude comprarme una flauta profesional, hace meses que estaba planeando hacerlo y me salió bien gracias a Dios, poco a poco voy a estar comprando la flautas que me faltan, voy a estar subiendo videos para que observen las diferentes flautas que existen y sobre la gama profesional, así que este videoclip es bastante importante para mí por esa motivo❤️.

>Hola a toda la comunidad de vibes, espero que se encuentren excelentes y llenos de pura buena música,en esta linda ocasión quiero compartir con todos el concierto para Flauta dulce en Fa mayor del compositor Giovanni Batista Sanmartinni, el cual es un concierto que llevo estudiando desde los 15 años y finalmente se me dio la oportunidad de presentarlo en público y bueno este fue el resultado espero que les guste☺️🎶❤️.


To put it into context, this concerto was written by an Italian composer who played the oboe as well as the recorder and worked at the court of the Prince of Wales composing music for when the prince had important meetings with his court or just wanted to have fun and enjoy himself. This was a great help for Giovanni since he could concentrate on his works and his musical studies. A curious fact about this concerto and this composer, who is my favorite composer, has to do with the transition from Baroque to Classicism. It consists of 3 movements. I played the first movement called Allegro.

>Para ponerlos un poco en contexto este concierto fue escrito por un compositor italiano que tocaba Oboe aparte de flauta dulce y trabajaba en la corte del príncipe de Gales componiendo música para cuando el príncipe tenía junto con su corte reuniones importantes o quería nada más divertirse y disfrutar esto fue una gran ayuda para Giovanni ya que podía concentrarse en sus obras y en su estudio musical, dato curioso de este concierto y de este compositor que es mí compositor favorito, tiene que ver con la transición del Barroco al Clacisismo, consta de 3 movimientos, yo interpreté el primer movimiento denominado Allegro.


For me, that composer is one of my favorites, because if you check out my blog you will always find covers of many pieces from different musical genres adapted to the recorder, not only for the soprano but also for the recorder family in general. I am a huge fan of Giovanni's work and legacy. In fact, I don't play his oboe pieces because unfortunately I don't have the instrument, and this concerto means a lot to me. I started studying him when I was 15 because my tutor gave me a pendrive of pure classical and baroque music where she had many works that contained the tracks and complete scores for accompaniment, and obviously she had given me the solo instrument as long-term study material. It was repertoire that would take a long time to study, along with the playing techniques for the instrument. However, all of Giovanni's works caught my attention, so I started looking for information about him, and I realize that there isn't much information about this concerto, why he composed it, or what he tries to express with it.

>Para mí ese compositor es uno de mis favoritos, ya que si revisan en mi blog siempre van a encontrar covers de muchísimos temas de diferentes géneros musicales adaptados a la flauta dulce, no solamente para la soprano también para la familia de flautas dulce en general, soy muy fanática del trabajó y legado de Giovanni, de hecho no toco sus piezas para oboe porque lamentablemente no tengo el instrumento y este concierto significa mucho para mí. Empecé a estudiarlo a los 15 años y fue porque mi tutora me pasó un pendrive de pura música clásica y barroca donde ella tenía muchas obras qué contenían las pistas y partituras completas para el acompañamiento y obviamente el instrumento solista me lo había pasado como material de estudio largo, era repertorio que duraría mucho tiempo estudiando junto con las técnicas de ejecución para el instrumento, sin embargo me llamó la atención todas las obras de Giovanni, así que empecé a buscar información sobre él y me dice cuenta que no existe mucho información de este concierto, del porque lo compuso, ni que trato de expresar con el.

Well, I started to obsess over this concerto, generally with the first and third movements, however I had to study the three complete movements, because that is the science and the joke of solo concertos. I presented it thanks to my tutor, she said it was ready and perfected, it took many years of practice, rehearsals, sacrifice, the first movement means a lot to me, I went through good and bad stages of my life, I grew as a person, I found my way, I overcame many adversities and precisely this movement represents the entire process I lived from the age of 15 until now and it was part of that process since I hated studying the second movement, it was very slow, it gave me anxiety to play it and I didn't like it, I didn't want to present it, but finally it helped me control my anxiety and I am finishing perfecting it, I will present it soon. For me, music helps us calm down, improve, and transform. I think there is no better teacher than music, since when I started studying the flute, at 9 years old, I was a girl who got very desperate and had no patience. I remember throwing the flute on the floor when something didn't go well. It quickly demotivated me, and it was precisely with music that I learned to be patient and to build calmly. I owe a lot to this instrument for everything it taught me.

>Bueno empecé a obsesionarme con este concierto, en general con el primer movimiento y el tercero no obstante tuve que estudiar los tres movimientos completos, por qué esa es la ciencia y el chiste de los conciertos solistas. Lo presente gracias a mi tutora, dijo que ya estaba listo y perfeccionado, fueron muchos años de práctica, ensayos, sacrificio, el primer movimiento significa mucho para mí, pase etapas de mi vida buenas, malas, crecí como persona, encontré mi camino, superé muchas adversidades y justamente este movimiento representa todo el proceso que viví desde los 15 hasta la actualidad y formó parte de ese proceso ya que odiaba estudiar el segundo movimiento era muy lento, me producía ansiedad tocarloy no me gustaba no lo quería presentar pero finalmente me ayudó a controlar mi ansiedad y lo estoy terminando de perfeccionar, próximamente lo presentaré. Para mí la música nos ayuda a calmarnos a mejorar a transformarnos, creo que no hay mejor maestro que ella ya que cuando yo empecé a estudiar flauta, a los 9 años era una niña que me desesperaba mucho no tenía paciencia, recuerdo que lanzaba a la flauta contra el piso cuando algo no me salía bien, me desmotivaba rápidamente, y justamente con ella aprendí a tener paciencia, a edificar con calma, le debo mucho a este instrumento por todo lo que me enseño🎶❤️.



Whenever I have the opportunity to talk about the recorder and how wonderful it is, to share my experience and the change it has given to my life being a fundamental guide, it has been a very great experience, I must confess that the main idea was to put together this concert as it was originally structured with the accompaniment of a chamber orchestra that are pure string instruments, such as viola, violin, cello l but unfortunately the musicians who were going to accompany me could not due to emergency problems we had to resort to a track, we had everything set up however it went well although it will turn out better and well the next time I present it, I plan to do the three movements. My main intention was to make known early music and its greatest exponents, to make known the work of Giovanni and its importance, that these jewels of baroque music are not missed and more importantly, that this presentation was the mere sample of my journey as a flutist, one more test of life ❤️.

>Siempre que tengo la oportunidad de hablar de la flauta dulce y lo maravillosa que es, de compartir mi experiencia y el cambiado que le dió a mi vida siendo una guía fundamental, ha Sido una experiencia muy grande, debo confesar que la idea principal era montar este concierto como lo es estructurado originalmente con acompañamiento de una orquesta de cámara que son puros instrumentos de cuerda, como viola, violin, cello l pero lamentablemente los músicos que me iban a acompañar no pudieron por inconvenientes de emergencia tuvimos que recurrir a una pista, teníamos todo montado no obstante salió bien aunque va a salir mejor y bueno la próxima vez que lo presente, tengo planeado hacer los tres movimientos. Mi intención principal fue dar a conocer la música antigua y sus máximos exponentes, dar a conocer el trabajo de Giovanni y la importancia de este, que no se pierdan estás joyas de la música barroca y más importante aún, que está presentación fue la mera muestra de mi recorrido como flautista, una prueba más de vida ❤️.

It's been a while since I last posted anything here😅 I've been a little absent since work and studies have me full but well this time I want to share with everyone a little bit of what was the end of the year concert and closing of the recorder chair of the Maracay nucleus where I participate and study for a long time, in this concert we had the participation of all levels of initiation from 5 year old children to the most advanced who are between 13 and 15 years old with a very varied repertoire of pure baroque, classical music and a little bit of the medieval period I hope you like it ☺️❤️.

>Hola comunidad de música🎶🎶💯 espero que todos estén muy bien ,tengo ya bastante tiempo que no público nada por aquí😅 he estado un poquito desaparecida ya que el trabajo y los estudios me tienen full pero bueno en esta oportunidad quiero compartir con todos un poco de lo que fue el concierto de fin de año y cierre de la cátedra de flauta dulce del núcleo maracay donde yo participo y estudio desde hace muchísimo tiempo, en este concierto tuvimos la participación de todos los niveles de iniciación desde niños de 5 años hasta los más avanzados que tienen entre los 13 y 15 años con un repertorio bastante variado de pura música barroca, clasica y un poco del periodo medieval espero que les guste ☺️❤️.



We also have the participation of the Le Fénix Consort ensemble, which is a group of pure teachers and very advanced recorder students where they put together a very varied and demanding repertoire. In this new edition, a very good new partner joined us. Among the entire repertoire we put together, we have songs by Teleman, also old songs, among others 🎶.

>También contamos con la participación del ensamble Le Fénix Consort , que es una agrupación de puros profesores y alumnos muy avanzados de flauta dulce donde montan un repertorio muy variado y exigente en esta nueva edición se nos unió un nuevo compañero bastante bueno, entre todo el repertorio que montamos tenemos temas de Teleman, también canciones antiguas entre otras 🎶.



Unlike last year which was about Venezuelan music, this edition was about baroque and early music, where the recorder was very popular with composers who stood out quite a bit for the instrument, so for this year's end we wanted to focus on that study and those techniques, we got a lot of useful and easy repertoire so that the kids found it fun and enjoyable to be able to study the recorder and put on a good closing concert, we also had the participation of some students who, due to their studies and their effort, wanted to play solo pieces like the Habanera from the opera Carmen, little girls of 5 years old who are starting to study and chose lessons in some recorder methods to present them on their own, among others.

>A diferencia del año pasado que fue de música venezolana, esta edición fue de música barroca y música antigua, donde la flauta dulce tenía mucha popularidad con compositores que destacaban bastante para el instrumento entonces para este cierre de año quisimos enfocarnos en ese estudio y en esas técnicas, conseguimos mucho repertorio de provecho y bastante fácil para que a los muchachos se les hiciera divertido y ameno poder estudiar la flauta dulce y montar un buen concierto de cierre, también tuvimos la participación de algunos alumnos que por sus estudios y su esfuerzo quisieron tocar piezas solistas como la Habanera de la ópera del Carmen, niñas chiquitas de 5 años que están iniciando en el estudio y eligieron lecciones de algunos métodos de flauta dulce para presentarlos ella solitas, entre otros más.



It was a long few months of preparation and effort but it paid off, as the children learned a lot achieving the main objective which was individual and group learning, polishing their skills with the instrument as well as showing the recorder and its professional studies beyond being an introductory instrument, we wanted to show how the different stages there are from little children to the most advanced in the chair, it was a very intimate recital only attended by the students' families but the goal was met🎶❤️.

>Fueron meses largos de mucha preparación y esfuerzo pero dió sus frutos ,ya que los niños aprendieron bastante logrando el objetivo principal que era el aprendizaje individual y grupal puliendo sus habilidades con el instrumento además de mostrar a la flauta dulce y sus estudios profesionales más allá de ser un instrumento de iniciación, quisimos mostrar como las diferentes etapas que hay desde los niños chiquitos hasta lo más avanzados en la cátedra, fue un recital muy íntimo nada más asistieron los familiares de los estudiantes pero se cumplió la meta🎶❤️.



For me it was quite enjoyable, we had a little sharing to celebrate the boys' effort along with their parents and representatives, for next year we will do another concert like this, obviously I will record it a little better 😞 I must admit that I could not concentrate on recording well since I was focused on the children and that everything went well musically but for the next one I promise to record the best hehehe, it really was a very pleasant experience, I loved playing with the ensemble and with our new member, he really is a very, very, very friendly, happy boy, we will continue building and building, but it was an excellent experience for me, what I liked the most was La Royne, it is a collection of quite old songs, we wanted to add percussion but due to the short time it did not happen, however we will see if we make some arrangements and add some good percussion, these songs are incredible, at least the first movement is happy, lively, the second makes you feel like in a Zelda video game, like in a Dark fantasy, the third It is moderate a little slower, the fourth is an allegro The fifth is a moderato slower than the third and so on, there are seven movements and each one has its own particularity. I think the most difficult thing about practicing this piece was the time changes, it was something that cost us a lot to put together but it was done quite well even though we didn't have the percussion.

>Para mí fue bastante ameno, hicimos un pequeño compartir para celebrar el esfuerzo de los muchachos junto con sus padres y representantes, ya para el próximo año haremos otro concierto como este,obviamente lo voy a grabarun poquito mejor😞 debo admitir que no me pude concentrar en grabar bien ya que estaba concentrada en los niños y en que todo saliera musicalmente bien pero para la próxima sí prometo grabar lo mejor jejeje, de verdad que fue una experiencia muy amena ame tocar con el ensamble y con nuestro nuevo integrante de verdad es un niño muy muy pero muy amigable alegre, seguiremos construyendo y edificando, pero fue una experiencia excelente para mí, lo que más me gustó fue La Royne, es una colección de temas bastante viejos le queríamos agregar percusión pero por el corto tiempo no se dió, sin embargo vamos a ver si le hacemos unos arreglos y le adjuntamos una percusión buena, estos temas son increíbles, por lo menos el primer movimiento es alegre, movido, el segundo te hace estar como en un videojuego de Zelda ,como en un Dark fantasy ,el tercero es moderado un poquito más lento, el cuarto es un alegro El quinto es un moderato más lento que el tercero y así sucesivamente, son siete movimientos y cada uno tiene su particularidad.Creo que lo más difícil de practicar esta pieza fue los cambios de tiempo, fue algo que nos costó mucho ensamblar pero se hizo bastante bien a pesar que no contábamos con la percusión.
