Out On A Limb is an acoustic trio consisting of incredible musicians and singers who focus on strong vocals and intricate instrumental
work. With a multiple crossover appeal between bluegrass, folk, country and classic rock, their renditions of known covers keeps the
audience in familiar music territory but cleverly adds their original twists in instrument and vocal arrangement changes. The best way to
describe OOAL is Americana.
This Richmond, VA based trio consists of Chris Stanley (guitar), Tommy Hughes (mandolin, banjo, guitar – not at the same time) and Jane
Cooper (hand percussion). They all sing leads and three-part harmonies are a must. If there wasn’t harmony to begin with, they’ll
add it. An up-right bass and/or drum kit can be thrown in by request. In one form or another, these three have played together for over 10 years. Their combined experiences have included appearances on The Grand Ole Opry and sharing the stage with a number of national
recording artists like Miranda Lambert, Jason Aldean, Travis Tritt, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Darius Rucker and many more.
