In this episode of Ur Typical Podcast, Donnie and Mikhail break down Survivor 50 Episode 7 -That's Not How I Play Survivor.
From Tiffany’s emotional blindside fallout to Jonathan stirring the pot, alliances shifting, and information flying everywhere (looking at you, Emily 👀), this episode was messy in the best way. We get classic Survivor tension with Dee vs Jonathan, Coach spiraling, and Cirie quietly running the game like she always does.
When everyone knows you have an idol… is it even power anymore?
Plus, we debate the smartest way to handle a blindside, whether the players missed a major opportunity to take out Coach, and what ultimately led to Dee’s downfall.
If you love strategy, chaos, and a little old-school Survivor energy, this episode is for you!

In this episode of Ur Typical Podcast, Donnie sits down with award-winning music director and conductor Heidi Joosten to explore how creativity, collaboration, and conversation fuel great art.
Heidi, originally from small-town Wisconsin, has built a remarkable career in theater and live performance, conducting productions inspired by titles like Avatar: The Last Airbender and Barbie.
Together, Donnie and Heidi dive into how limitations can spark creativity, why “scrappy” theater often leads to the most authentic storytelling, and what it really takes to grow as an artist. Whether you’re a performer, a creative, or simply someone who loves live storytelling, this conversation is a reminder that art flourishes when artists connect, share ideas, and collaborate.
