As the Trump presidency draws to a close, the administration has moved to solidify a number of initiatives on the international diplomatic front, especially in regard to Israel and Palestine and the broader Middle East.
Today on the show, we’ll be discussing U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East, politics and concerns in the region, and what we can expect from the Biden administration when it comes to international affairs with professor Stephen Zunes.
Stephen Zunes is a professor of politics and international studies at the University of San Francisco, where he serves as coordinator of the program in Middle Eastern Studies. He also serves as a senior policy analyst for the Institute for Policy Studies’ Foreign Policy in Focus project, an associate editor of Peace Review, and a contributing editor of Tikkun.
