Dozens of people gathered outside the White House on July 27 to protest Israel's ongoing blockade of the Gaza Strip, where more than 2 million Palestinians remain on the brink of famine.

Israel on Sunday announced a daily 10-hour pause in military operations in parts of Gaza and the opening of new aid corridors, as Jordan and the United Arab Emirates airdropped emergency supplies into the area.
