This week, I sit down with my husband, Corey, to share the tender and vulnerable story of our ongoing journey with infertility. It’s been a walk marked by deep longing, stretching, and heartbreak—and yet, through it all, God has proven Himself faithful.
In this episode, we talk about:
The ache of not knowing if your body is “good”
The emotional and spiritual weight infertility places on a marriage
Learning to stay with each other instead of fixing or fleeing
The deep impact of presence—being held instead of hurried
Gratitude as a powerful tool to anchor us in truth
How God uses the waiting to prepare our hearts, not punish them
Surrendering the dream of parenthood to Jesus and trusting Him to hold it tenderly
You’ll hear us reflect on Abraham’s faith in Romans 4, when it says:
“Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.”
Even when the promise seemed impossible, he trusted the Promiser.
And in the hidden places of waiting, Psalm 139 gives us peace:
“The darkness is not dark to you… you knit me together in my mother’s womb.”
God sees every piece of our story—even the parts that feel lost in the dark.
There’s a line in this episode I whispered through tears:
“If I can’t give this to you, is my love enough?”
And another Corey gently offered:
“The desire of my heart is not to have children, but to hear the Father say, ‘I am well pleased.’”
We hope this conversation reminds you that you are not alone in your wrestle. God isn’t withholding from you—He is preparing you. He sees your ache, and He is near.
You are held. You are loved. And even in this, you are not forsaken.

Scriptures to Reflect On
Romans 4:20-22 – “Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God… being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.”
Psalm 139:11-13 – “Even the darkness will not be dark to you… For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.”
