THE FOLLOWING IS A RELEASE FROM THE CRUISING MCMINNVILLE GROUP REGARDING THE AUGUST 25 2018 EVENT
-The moment you’ve been waiting for is here - just one short month from now you and we will be Cruising McMinnville.
- Mark the date - Saturday August 25th. Set this day aside, fill your tanks, get your ride vacuumed out, tuned up and shiny! Our route plan and car show plans are in place and we are making the final tweaks to them.
Here’s what we can tell you at this point:
- The Cruising McMinnville Car show will take place on 3rd Street here in Mcminnville Oregon from Noon Til 5 on Saturday August the 25th. More details to follow but we have some BIG plans for a great day of fun, cars, trucks, motorcycles, and some of the coolest and one of a kind awards you’ve ever laid eyes on plus some special features and guests - you do not want to miss this event!
- Cruising McMinnville’s cruising event on 3rd Street will be from 5pm-10pm Saturday August the 25th and cars will follow a route that’s both fun and should - with everyone’s participation and assistance - flow better ‘n ever. And YES, we will cruise 3rd in BOTH directions. This ain’t gonna be no parade ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls!! The bulk of our volunteers are long time cruisers themselves and we, they, get it!
- There will not be a mandatory fee to cruise as we’d anticipated, but we will be asking for a voluntary 5 buck donation and canned food for YCAP. We will have lots more info as well as cruise route for you soon to follow. This is breaking news and our team wanted to get this info to you ASAP.
- We will have super cool T-shirts available for sale, and for order soon, as well as some ‘must have’ and collectible stickers for your ride, helmet, shop fridge or wherever you can think of to stick ‘em.
- Our website - www.cruisingmcminnville.com will be operational shortly, and we will begin preregistration for the Cruising McMinnville Car Show as soon as possible.
- Cruising McMinnville ™️ is a not for profit 501c3 Corporation. We are currently seeking sponsors and donors and have a team that would love to contact you or your company and discuss sponsorship opportunities. Our team and board is made up entirely of volunteers - no one, no one, is paid staff. Every penny put into Cruising McMinnville will be utilized to operate our events this year and into the future and excess if and when there is will fund partner charities and other non profits in our community and county. Our team has discussed lots of ways we can serve our city as well as surrounding communities. We are looking forward to being able to give back.
- If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a volunteer please let us know and we will discuss available opportunities with you. We will be introducing you to our team leads and members as we get closer to the event and beyond. We are super excited to get to meet you, and for you to get to know our amazing team. We could not do this without you, or them.
