SINGLE VEHICLE CRASH SERIOUSLY INJURES CARLTON MAN - YAMHILL COUNTYNews Release from Oregon State Police On October 22, 2015 at about 9:56 AM OSP became aware of an injured male at Providence Newberg Hospital who had reportedly been involved in a cr ash. The male, Efren DE LA SANTOS, age 20, of Carlton, was later transferred from Providence Newberg Hospital to Oregon Health and Science University for treatment of serious injuries. Preliminary information indicates at around 7:30AM, DE LA SANTOS was driving a 1995 Volkswagen Jetta westbound on Highway 240 near milepost 10 when it left the roadway. DE LA SANTOS lost control, crossed back over the roadway and collided with two trees. An acquaintance of the operator transported him to Providence Newberg Hospital for his injuries. Alcohol is being considered as a contributing factor in the crash. OSP was assisted by the Newberg Dundee Police Department and the Yamhill County Sheriff's Office. The investigation is continuing and more information will be released when it becomes available.

Hoss has been found.  Up to 65 people were involved in the search after the car of David Hoss Hostetler was found  in Tillamook County in the Siuslaw National Forest.   He was alive and semi conscious when found.    He was last seen leaving the American Legion in McMinnville Friday night.
