Mr. Ignacio Delgado Culebras is the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) representative at the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ). He worked as a freelance journalist throughout the Middle East, writing for publications in Belgium, Romania, Spain, and the United States on civil society, democratization, and human rights issues. He served as a media analyst for the Open Source Center’s Europe bureau for nine years. Prior to joining CPJ in 2017, he worked as a lecturer in journalism at the Polytechnic University of Duhok. He earned his master’s in journalism from the Complutense University of Madrid. He speaks English, Arabic, German, Romanian, and Spanish.
Ms. Ines Mathlouthi is a Tunisian freelance journalist, with several years experience in the field of journalism. She studied journalism in Tunisia and received a Postgraduate Diploma in Broadcast Journalism from Nottingham Trent University in 2013. She worked with several renowned international media outlets, including Euronews, CNN, CGTN China, and Deutsche Welle, over the last few years. She is currently working with Tunisian and Danish scouts organizations as the project manager of "Future Leaders." She is fully fluent in Arabic, English, and French.
