This episode we're joined by Jean Widener, a 3rd grade teacher at BESIC. Mrs. Widener shares with us her passion for education, what it's like to be on a new grade-level team, the reasons she's focusing a little more on social-emotional learning and 21st Century skills this year, and some of her class's writing projects. We catch up with Jamie Dennis, a first grade teacher at Baldwin Elementary School Primary Center and talk about the start of the school year, classroom projects, and what it's like to teach 1st graders this year. 

In this episode, we talk with Cameron Schneider, 8th grade social studies teacher at Baldwin Junior High. Schneider and his class recently had the chance to talk to some students in Norway who stayed up at school following the election results in the United States. Schneider talks about the experience, the positive power of social media, and the importance of connecting with others.
