Today I want to share a heartfelt message inspired by Genesis 28. When Jacob called on God in his moment of fear and uncertainty, it reminded me that every believer today has the same right and the same access to God’s protection and power. This post explains why knowing the Word of God is essential and how it strengthens us to face the enemy with confidence.Today, I want to share something very important. God touched my heart, and He allowed me to spend time reading Genesis chapter 28. In particular, verse 20 stood out to me in a powerful way. This verse describes how Jacob made a vow to God, asking for His protection while Jacob was dealing with everything surrounding his situation in Haran. Jacob knew where to go when he needed help. He knew who held the power to cover him, to guide him, and to keep him safe.As I reflected on this passage, it reminded me of how we should carry ourselves in our everyday lives. We need to recognize that as believers, we must go to God to fight our battles. We need to know who to turn to when life becomes overwhelming. Every person in the Bible, when faced with trouble or danger, went directly to God because they believed—without hesitation—that God could deliver them. And He did, time and time again.
