I want to share something with y’all today that really hit me in my spirit. Sometimes I come on here and share what God gives me because I believe there needs to be more content that points people back to Christ. There is so much noise on social media, so many distractions, and so many people chasing things that won’t matter in eternity.Recently, God challenged me with a simple question:"If you knew you were going to die tomorrow, would you be okay with where you're going?"That question stopped me in my tracks.A lot of people are afraid of death. Many people immediately start thinking about all the things they haven't done yet, all the places they haven't traveled, or all the goals they haven't accomplished. But why don't we spend that same energy making sure we're right with God?Jesus died for our sins. He endured rejection, persecution, suffering, and temptation. Yet He never stopped loving us. He didn't put off His purpose. He didn't say, "Let me go do everything I want first." He fulfilled what God called Him to do because He loved us that much.What I don't understand is how people can thank God for waking them up every morning but forget to thank Him for the promise of heaven. How can we ask Him to bless our meals but forget where those blessings come from? How can we ask for forgiveness while knowingly holding on to things we refuse to surrender?None of us are perfect. I make mistakes every day. I have weaknesses. I get tired. I fall short. But I know where my help comes from, and I know that my relationship with God is more important than anything this world can offer.Too many people are trying to prove themselves to people who don't truly care. God reminded me that I don't have to be liked to be loved. His love is enough.So today, I challenge you: Don't just prepare for your future on earth. Prepare for eternity. Make pleasing God your highest priority. Because when you spend your life pursuing Him, you're showing Him that you're serious about where you're going.And that's a journey worth investing in.

I wanted to share something with you guys today that has really been sitting on my heart for a while. I know a lot of people ask why it feels like every time they pray, fast, or try to get closer to God, everything starts going wrong instead of right. It can honestly feel discouraging. You start thinking God is not listening because the opposite of what you prayed for seems to happen.But through my own walk with Christ, I’ve learned something important. Sometimes God has to tear down things in our lives that were never good for us in the first place before He can build something better. A lot of us prayed for things while standing in situations, relationships, habits, or mindsets that God knew would destroy us later. So when we start truly seeking Him, He begins unraveling things we thought we needed. And yes, it hurts. Sometimes it feels like loss before blessing.The enemy also wants you to believe that because things got harder, God abandoned you. That is one of the biggest lies people fall into. The closer you get to God, the more spiritual resistance you may feel because the enemy does not want you to realize your purpose or your future.One thing I had to learn is that God is not a genie that exists only to give us things. He wants relationship, surrender, obedience, and trust. Even when life hurts. Even when we cry. Even when we don’t understand why certain prayers were answered differently than we expected.And let me say this too: being a Christian does not mean your life is miserable. God has blessed me in many ways and carried me through some dark places. I still struggle sometimes. I still learn every day. But I know without a doubt that Jesus Christ saved my life and changed me from the inside out.Sometimes surrender means telling yourself no. Sometimes it means walking away from things God said are not good for you. Sometimes it means trusting God enough to let Him fight battles you are too weak to fight yourself.If you are praying right now and feeling ignored, please don’t give up. God sees you. He knows your heart. Stop focusing only on what has not happened yet and trust that God is still working, even behind the scenes. Faith is not only believing when things feel good. Faith is saying “Lord, I still trust You even now.”

There is something powerful that many believers still struggle to fully understand about following Jesus Christ. Christianity is not only about receiving salvation for ourselves. It is also about becoming vessels of love, forgiveness, prayer, and mercy for other people. That is the true heart of the gospel.
In John 20:21-23, Jesus told His disciples, “As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” Then He breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.” Right after this, He began speaking about forgiveness. That connection matters deeply. Jesus was showing that being filled with the Spirit also means learning how to forgive, pray for people, and intercede for others the same way He intercedes for us.
Many people preach the gospel from a place of judgment, fear, or condemnation. But Jesus preached truth with love. Yes, repentance matters. Yes, sin matters. But Jesus also understood that every person deserves the opportunity to encounter the grace of God. Too many people are quick to tell others they are doomed, hopeless, or beyond redemption, but that was never the spirit of Christ.
Jesus came to save people, not destroy them.
When we become followers of Christ, we are called to reflect His heart. That means loving enemies, praying for people who hurt us, forgiving those who wrong us, and believing that God can still transform someone no matter how broken they look today. Sometimes we forget that somebody once prayed for us too. Somebody showed us kindness. Somebody forgave us when we did not deserve it. And because of those prayers and acts of mercy, many of us are where we are today.
That is the beauty of intercession.

One thing that people really need to understand is that GOD is more concerned about your heart than your performance. A lot of us spend every single week keeping score on ourselves. We sit around feeling guilty because we missed a prayer night, forgot to read our Bible one day, missed church, or didn’t volunteer enough. Meanwhile, GOD is looking deeper than all of that.People really think Christianity is about checking boxes. “Did I pray enough?” “Did I give enough money?” “Did I serve enough at church?” “Did I bring enough people to Bible study?” But the truth is, you can do ALL of those things and still have an ugly heart.You can preach and still be hateful.
You can give money and still be prideful.
You can lead a church and still lack compassion.
You can sing worship songs every Sunday and still mistreat people behind closed doors.That is why GOD looks at the heart first.1 Samuel 16:7 says:
“For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”That scripture says everything. Humans are impressed by titles, numbers, followers, church positions, and appearances. GOD is not moved by any of that if the heart is corrupt.Sometimes we are harder on ourselves than GOD is. Some people truly believe GOD is sitting there angry because they forgot to pray one night after being exhausted from life. Meanwhile GOD understands your struggles, your pain, your stress, and your heart posture.Matthew 22:37 says:
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.”Notice how it says HEART first.GOD wants sincerity. He wants kindness. He wants humility. He wants love. He wants forgiveness. He wants people who genuinely care about others instead of pretending to be holy for attention.Honestly, some of the meanest people sit in church every week while some broken people outside the church have hearts full of compassion and love. That should tell people something.Stop thinking GOD only values religious activity. He values transformation of the heart. Yes, prayer matters. Yes, giving matters. Yes, serving matters. But none of those things mean anything if your heart is full of bitterness, jealousy, hate, arrogance, and cruelty.At the end of the day, GOD is not asking you to be perfect. He is asking you to have a heart that is willing to love, grow, repent, and seek Him honestly.
