Don't allow yourself to sit and die in silence. I know it can be easier said than done, but remember no one can read your mind. If something is wrong and doesn't sit well with you, please speak up. You have to teach people how to treat you by setting boundaries for what you will and will not allow. Remember, it is not what you say, but how it is said. You are not a doormat, so do not allow people to walk all over you. You don't have to be mean and angry to get your point across. You can respectfully speak up and say how you feel. Your feelings are valid, but don't let it control you. With everything, acknowledge how you feel, find out whats the cause of it, deal with it, then move on. God has given you a voice, be sure to make use of it.
