Zekhethelo Buthelezi, popularly known as MaSondiya from KwaCeza, joined us in studio. She is a student at MUT. She was joined by Zamani Gazu, known as iiGubeshe, from Obuka in eMpangeni, a student at UNIZULU.

It was a musical showdown as both selected their two favourite Maskandi songs — and in the end, iiGubeshe won the battle.

Nhlakanipho Dlamini, popularly known as uDlushiye, joined us to talk about his journey and how much his talent has grown since he started.

Now part of the Maskandi genre, uDlushiye shared that music is a business, but also advised aspiring artists to prioritize their education and have multiple income streams, as the music industry can be unpredictable.

On this day, the uShuni Wengoma show had an interview with Zethu Sangweni, popularly known as Gog' Sangweni, from Richards Bay. During our chat with her, Gog' Sangweni revealed that she is a spiritually gifted individual (Traditional healer). She advised the audience to be conscious of how dangerous it is to perform wealth-giving magic (ukuthwala). According to her, she draws her musical inspiration from her ancestors. She is versatile in the music industry because she can sing different genres. She released an EP titled Livumile Idlozi in 2023, and in October 2024, she released a single track called Ngisempini.

He said Mgqumeni is a her role model and he influence to start with music because in the school was singing Isicathamiya. Shoti was started in Maskandi industry in 2022 with EP and 2023 he came back with another EP but he said early next year by Easter holidays they drop a Album with 10 tracks
