Today I have the pleasure of sharing the story of Gabriela Parada, fellow Latina, light worker, and mindfulness teacher. One of the topics we address today is the societal and cultural challenges that children of immigrant and refugee parents experience, especially during their younger years. Also, Gabriela shares how she struggled with depression and anxiety for many years as she tried to assimilate to a new culture, and how meditation helped her heal from trauma and programming that she had internalized. I'm so grateful to share her story with you as she made me feel so seen and heard and I think she'll do the same for you.
