Over the last few years the world has witnessed heart-breaking scenes of families running for their lives as their country was torn apart by war. Just as heart-breaking was the reaction by a lot of people and even the press. A lot of angry, xenophobic reactions and no empathy.

AL and Tom speak to a Amanda Jones from Shropshire Supports Refugees. Amanda jumped at the chance at going out to help the refugees in Calais. After witnessing the terrible situations that the refugees were living in, Amanda was inspired to help the families that actually made it to Shropshire UK. We find out her story and get in deep about this troubling situation.

Afterwards AL and Tom geek out about the Mandalorian and talk about how it has changed the face of Star Wars in a brilliant, yet familiar way

AL, Shane and Lucy bring you up to date with some of the world's top trending bizarre news stories including:

A drunk squirrel

A house with a creepy secret

Sega Mega Drive + Rabbit + sock = crippling embarrassment

A sex doll marriage

"No kill meat"

Monoliths (including a penis shaped one made of wood!)

And of course Science With Alex.

Add all this together, along with a bunch of terrible puns and you get....The Weekly Bizarre!

Welcome to the chateau and welcome back to the eighth edition of USUK Chronicles.

Joining the guys this week is a radio personality in Vermont, Mike Tynio. With a solid radio voice that if it were carved, it would be made out of the same marble as the Madonna of Bruges, it was hard not to get into deep conversation with our guest.

We discussed religion and how it can fit into everyone's life, regardless of what background, what education and what job you have. We share what our Christmases look like and chat about Christmas in other cultures like the Krampus for example (hence our wicked artwork this week). We share interesting facts about Britain, the origins of the RP accent. Then Al whips out an article which has most British insult that has been ranked in order of severity, just because...well why not?!

Join AL, Shane and Lucy as they take you through some of the week's most bizarre trending news stories. For example:

In & Out Burger cause "Panda-monium"

Is it possible to cross the line in the "Only Fans" world

The "Arse"onist who learns the meaning of instant Karma

That crazy monolith in Utah, what is it exactly?

Science with Alex? Well....Monkey Brains by Max Plank and Space jizz

Such a sophisticate show aren't we? but hey it's The Weekly Bizarre!!

An all British show this week. We honour our American counterparts with a Thanksgiving themed quiz and we travel around the United States of America with accents....or shall I say our attempts at the American accents. This is fun!

This show show comes to you completely unedited and as uncensored as it was on Wednesday when we recorded it.

Enjoy!
