As you may have heard we are doing a thing in September...Pod Aid!
AL speaks to Naomi, Helen, Lizzy and Anna and finds out all bout their roles and what it takes to find innovative ways to raise money, the effects of Covid-19 and what the funds actually mean to to community that Lingen Davies strive to help.
This episode was recorded in the sunny garden outside the Lingen Davies office in Shrewsbury, it is such a relaxed interview, yet it illustrates the hard work that these guys do and what it means to them. There is a real passion here from the team and we are so excited to be helping them in the best way we can.
Welcome to episode 2 of Yelling At Clouds: Jumpin' For Joyce.
Join Mr Erik Pflueger as he teaches us about proper and improper art as coined by James Joyce.
"Kinetic" and "Static art", what do these terms mean? What is real porno? ah, we have your attention now don't we?
This is a real lesson into the effects we have when we get that "ah!" moment with art. Is it something that repulses you or stops you in your tracks or is it something that makes you desire the thing you see? What is all this and what do we know about it?
Well we have Erik here to break some facts, so sit down son, school is in session!
AL and Tom speak to Jeffrey Weissman aka George McFly from Back To The Future Parts 2 & 3.
Jeffrey talks to us about what is was like being flown in "on the eleventh hour" to portray the roll of George McFly in what went on to be one of the biggest movie franchises of all time.
Jeffrey speaks highly of the BTTF fanbase and is super grateful for the kindness and support they have given him over the years.
George was a stunning guest and boy does he have a great voice for podcasting!

AL and Tom bring a very special guest this week. Casey Jost is a talented writer as well as being the producer for Impractical Jokers.
Casey offers some real insight into what life is like working with Impractical Jokers as a show. What worked, what didn't work sometimes, why is New York such a perfect place to record the show?
So, there are some major inconsistencies in the audio here because our recording software screwed us a little. So AL had to strip the audio right down and rebuild it. This is a real, handmade, artisan podcast. Casey you were an absolute blast, we'd love to get you on again sir!
Special shout-out goes to Caz, thanks for being an amazing booking manager for us!
You may recognise Cody Lundin from the TV, you may have read his books, if not, Cody is a survival instructor of the highest calibre. AL and Tom speak to Cody about his life and what it means to be in his position when it comes to calling out all of the bulls**t that we see on TV when it comes to survival.
Join Tom, David and special guest Keith McCleary as they spend an hour together catching up with the good hearted banter and hilarity that you deserve.
This is Wednesday Night Liiiive! Except it's not live, and it's released on a Thursday...But it sounds great and will absolutely make you laugh so...enjoy!

AL and Tom take you guys on a trip to Medieval England for todays episode. They're speaking the Matthew, Tom and Lee. These guys know their stuff when it comes to Medieval Battle Re-enactment. Suited and booted in chainmail and wielding weapons of bollock destruction. We dive right into the gruesome nature of battles like the very bloody and violent Battle Of Shrewsbury which happened in 1403.
Matthew, Lee and Tom are portraying the Corbett Household, a prominent family from Medieval England, donning the family colours and arms, while wielding axes of historical facts. We also discuss the very exciting Battle Of Shrewsbury re-enactment which will be taking place on the 24th July, What can we expect to see and will AL get to battle T.S in the arena? (just so you know T.S if we do, I'm coming at you like Jim Carrey in Cable Guy so be warned!)
This is so much fun!
